I thought he cheated and just had two independent loops. People can't recognize if its the same ball coming out as going in. That it actually works is really awesome.

The moment you started to pull off the mirrors I begun to question if there was or wasn't a bulge in the tablecloth. I think the most impressive part of this build is that optical illusion, because looking down on it from a natural height the bottoms look completely flush.

You should take this to GBC, (great ball contraption) although I would recommend using a stronger material for the step over other than Legos. This should be on the entrance to the inside of the show area.

I think the most genius part of this build was using a black table and tablecloth so as the camouflage the mechanism perfectly. Combine that with the balls "disappearing" into the mirrors and the slanted bottoms of the ends it makes a perfect illusion that the balls are just flat-our disappearing and reappearing up the other side, not to mention the build itself being just very aesthetically pleasing in general!

For the next version of this, you should have a reservoir of soccer balls and basketballs in the output side and an EV3 powered color sorter on the input side and "teleport" a matching ball that way. Then have it "break down" every once in a while so you can swap the ball hoppers between the two sides when the input portal fills up or the output portal runs dry.
