I love the inversion of rain-forest usefulness for Pedro and how it flips a lot of play around chops and districts, but I really wish it wasn't another one of those "You just have to know it, you don't get told" bonuses. Transparency decreases frustration and increases understanding, which in my experience promotes strategic variation and thus fun gameplay. Make the game challenging, not opaque! Why do you hurt me like this Firaxis
@@samborambo222 Ah yeah I knew that, but it's tru it should say this somewhere. That's what makes his cultural play super good. Horde them national parks with massive appeal!!!!
I have just started, today, my second ever Deity game. I'm playing with Perdo II for the first time in ever. I'm really looking forward more of this series. I've just hit the industrial era. I'm in good shape for a culture victory :)
I never knew Pedro got a unique water park to go with his unique entertainment district; I guess I haven't played him since water parks became a thing.
You really should have went for the free settler instead, start working on a warrior and settle that natural wonder for the era score. No matter what you do, your faith resource will be strong because of your potential for districts. I love Earth Goddess as well, but I think it was a mistake to choose it over securing a golden age in the early game - especially since you seem to lack a lot of good land - making it a priority to settle as quickly as possible.
Pedro is an awesome name

What does the game not tell you about the rainforest play?
D-Doom33 for Pedro they provide one appeal if they are in his territory, instead of the -1 everyone else gets

Why Pedro II?
Belgarath because there was a Pedro before him, so he’s the second Pedro of Brazil
@@MatthaeusGT Oh, I was under the impression that this was the second series with Pedro. Thanks for the clarification
Belgarath no problem
