This was sooo good, especially about the packages. The mister is stuck on the package price and thinks that's the final price. I keep stressing to him that it's NOT! I'm not a huge budgeter but I have had to start to keep us on track!😂

Lol yes so much goes into a wedding! Google has a ton of budget templates online to help you!! Weddings are expensive!
@@aleahbouie9338 thanks for the tips! I found a template and it has been a life saver because we realized we were thinking too small, so we increased our budget a little. Any tips on where brides can cut down their costs?

Once I had the Travel Agent send us locations it was an easy choice once we saw the actually resorts! I knew what I wanted my wedding to feel like so this resort spoke to me!

I just found your channel and I must I’m so happy I did I am currently planning a small destination wedding for November 5, 2022 and It’s going to be held at Fiesta American Condesa in Cancun Mexico. I feel loss as to how to go about things such as the travel agent, DJ etc. But I must say I got good information.
I've heard different takes on guests getting a plus 1... If we are budgeting for our guests, do they automatically get a plus 1? Should we budget for each person to have an extra guest?
We gave plus 1s since they had to travel out of the country. I asked my linesisters to room together so they only got a plus one if they were married or engaged! My family and friends know me so they didn’t bring anyone I didn’t know or had never met!
Agreed! Rule of thumb is to assume everyone gets a +1...they’re making the trip & if they wanted a guest for comfort, let it be...you’ll be surprised how many people don’t bring a +1 but still appreciate having the option. Adding this to the next DESTIHOUR too btw! Great Q!

I need so much guidance in planning my destination wedding.. I’ve always told myself this is exactly what I wanted to do just never planned a location.. so Cobo San Lucas will be my pick.. I have been back & fourth with my bf on/off for 13 years now I am 38 he’s 45 looking at a budget of $20k-25 total it will be all inclusive very small family & intimate wedding.. I want to have honeymoon there as well.. some advice we are past 35 years my daughters are 21/16 years & his is 8 years old.. so some guest will have there kids they don’t want to leave them, others will be solo (grown ups) any advice or opinions pls don’t hesitate ❤️

I’m getting married at this same destination and I’m having trouble with the wedding coordinators.

Who does the announcements at the ceremony and reception? Did you have someone play your song or the coordinator did it?
The wedding team at the resort played the music during the ceremony! At the reception we hired an announcer but the DJ can do it!
Another great Q! Soooo many options here! Some ppl designate a friend as the “MC”, some do like we did and the officiant handled ceremony announcements and the DJ @ reception...have fun with it! Adding this to the next DESTIHOUR too btw! 😉

@@thelayab ahhh thank you for your quick response! We just placed our deposit for the beyond memorable package as well. Do you know roughly how much your guests spent each night/per person for the resort? I'm nervous it will be a sticker shock for most guests and we are still waiting to hear back about our room block.
@@aryelmarquez6498 it was around $640 4 days 3 nights and that included transfers to ans from. Since we used a travel agent they were able to make payments. We also reminded them it’s all inclusive but that price was super reasonable. Anyone who didn’t agree needed fo stat home lbvs I worked hard to find a place that was nice and reasonably priced so I wasn’t trying to hear it.
