I not sure what its legit name is but the 360 body varial straight into Manual was sick. Using the same ramp into a kinda Nose picker one foot Manual was also cool if he had dropped in clean.
I agree with you top podium place rides were kinda boring to watch. They kept doing the same trick over and over. Maybe it was about pumping the bowl and going high I dunno?? 🤦♂️

I think he's super exciting to watch ride and maybe judges feel the same way? I think BMX is kind of between music and sports, some times a band is just more exciting to people even though they might not technically be better. In sports fastest/highest wins no questions asked, but it's got to be hard to judge these things
As an example, nobody else did the pocket air transfer from the vert quarter to the corner w the curved wall sub. Stuff like that is supremely hard, like when Kris Fox jumped the big quarter to quarter the long way. Nobody else did it because they can't.
Riley Perron Dak is one of the worlds best riders. He knows the sports inside and out, there’s no wonder he’s a judge. Street or bowl, he knows bmx better than anyone.

High speed / massive airs, smooth and unique transfers, 100% usage of the course, and an unmatched style. Well earned in my opinion.
