Take a look at the macro specially made a grinding sound on the floor of the hall with a sword so that the first warrior was aware! the macro did not want to kill him from behind as some kind of killer, he is a warrior. and did you notice the fighting style? the first warrior also did not want death, he simply intercepted the hand with the macro sword without a counter-attack without throwing himself into the abyss, took it by the wrist as before. by the way it was the only PvP xD

You assume it's a hundred pounds. Could be a lightweight material. Besides, actual steel plate armor usually didn't weigh more than 55 pounds, and the knights were able to do all sorts of acrobatic feats. Obviously not the insane stuff they do hear, but even gymnasts have trouble doing some of those feats. Part of it is just distributing and supporting the weight. Part of the test for a properly fitted suit of armor was doing cartwheels and shoulder rolls. You can find videos of it.

They had become advanced enough to develop shielding tech that acted like "rubber" where it'd catch things at a specific velocity, but still allow air and slow moving things through. This meant heavy armor and plating were no longer necessary which led to a giant leap in tech and space travel. Bullets were rendered ineffective in conventional warfare and lasers were disastrous to use (tl;dr - Lasers hitting Holtzman was like setting off a nuclear bomb), but blades could easily pass through the shields. So martial arts made a huge come back in the military.

I'm of the mindset that there's a time and place for both, having a suspension of disbelief allows people to enjoy works of fiction-- and I do believe that in this case, since the game is obviously set in a world that works differently from our own, we should just enjoy the ride that the devs have prepared for us.
