Hey guys. Loving the videos. Truly. It’s what’s getting us ready for our road trip around Australia for 6 months from august. But I do have a question. We plan on documenting the trip with a drone, go pro etc..for ourselves. Personal viewing to show friend and family. There are a lot of videos like your selves doing this via UA-cam (which we’ve enjoyed yours the most) but what are the pros and cons IF we decided to document and share on UA-cam?
Thank you so much Michael! It is always so nice to hear people get things from our videos. How exciting about your upcoming trip!!! You will be able to visit so many amazing places in 6 months. Pros to putting our videos out to the public on YT - it gives you the opportunity to connect with people all over the world. That is something we have loved, hearing peoples travel plans and stories from all over the place it is really cool! We really love when we get comments from people saying they decided to go try camping or travel somewhere after seeing one of our vids as that was one of the reasons we decided to make them public, in hope it may inspire someone to explore their own beautiful backyard. Cons - Editing is time consuming so if you are trying to keep to a schedule it can be hard at times. Another con is when your videos are public you are open to anyone commenting and as we all know you can't please everyone. Fortunately we have only had a few comments which weren't overly positive, but we consider ourselves lucky that we have so many great supporters that you all far out weight the few negative comments 😁 Overall, we have really loved our YT journey, we didn't really know what to expect and like you we just wanted to show family and friends our travels and also have the videos for memories later in life. But it has been a lot of fun talking with people via the comments and if they come up and say hi when we are out. Good luck with your journey, if you decided to put your videos open to the public, let us know we would love to follow your travels around this beautiful country. Happy and safe travels!!
Craig and Miranda! Appreciate the prompt response and sharing the pros and cons of YT. I agree that it would have taken the time to edit such videos during your time but I guess in a way, being in remote areas you’d have a nice “office view” to work with! Will absolutely share with you what we decide to do. Minimal will probably be something like instagram and sharing photos or snippets. Hehe. Btw we bought the Robbo ourselves and picking it up in a few weeks. Haha. I agree with Miranda with kids, the caravans for us too felt smaller and trapped. We are super excited to start our journey in the MDC Robbo and enjoy it as much as you guys. Thank you again and what an inspiration the videos have given us.
@@michaelbalazik7467 the remote areas are definitely a great office view to work too. Congrats on your Robbo purchase!!! They are such great campers, no doubt you will make many great memories in it 🧡
Another awesome episode. You are showing us some unknown wonderful places. Poor Miranda. Hope you are feeling better soon. We went away one Easter and the boys went to the pub drinking, came back to cook dinner and my poor wife who hadn't even had one drink fell out of our friends off road camper and broke her elbow. Luckily the great caravan park owners drove her to the hospital because i couldn't drive🙄🙄🤣
Thanks mate! Oh no your poor wife, that sounds incredibly painful!! Thank goodness someone was able to drive her to the hospital 😬 of all times to happen!
😂😂 great idea, that woman seriously!🤕 the skywalk was amazing we are so glad to have finally ticked it off out buketlist. Hope all is well, thanks for watching mate!
Clearly, we both have great taste in children's names😁 The sculpture park was great so many talented local people 😊 it is so nice getting into the country and being able to attend these local events.
Hey guys first off sorry to hear Miranda has hurt her arm….speedy recovery Miranda 🙌🏻 but you did very well climbing up that ladder to get onto the skywalk 👏🏻 another informative video and the scenery is spectacular…..the views from the ranges are just WOW! Love the t shirt camo 👍🏻 drone shots are always a highlight love seeing the vastness when you put the drone up 👍🏻 loved the video as always looking forward to the next one 🤗 🇦🇺🦘🪃
Thanks Neil ❤ A silly error on my part, be sure to take care on pea gravel paths when you get here, they are lethal! It really puts it into perspective how vast the land is when you put the drone up. It always blows us away, such beautiful countryside. Thanks, as always, for watching. Hope all is well 😁
@@RoaminintheRobbo as long as your ok! I had to google pea gravel…small stones with rounded edges…..small marbles so very slippy….can’t be helped happens to the best of us so will look out for it while we’re lost somewhere 😂 will take great care! And yes it is a beautiful country everything I watch is totally amazing breath taking! Watching is the law so wouldn’t miss an episode of our favourite UA-camrs 🙌🏻 all is well thank you…hope your scan goes well and the problem is only minor 🤞🏻 becareful and takecare x🇦🇺🦘🪃x
@Neil-clare yep small marbles is the perfect way to describe them 😂 really not the best thing for a path, but for some reason they use them a lot over here. Thanks yeah hopefully the scan gives me some answers I'm guessing I just need a bit of physio and it should all be good again 😁 hope the trip planning is going well, your trip will be here before you know it which is exciting!!
"Silly old cow"? A suitably firm slap was administered I trust? Beautiful video guys, well done. Iv'e just returned from a four day visit to the Warren River NP just a tad past Pemberton (Draftys camp site) but left early due to the weather turning foul. My next trip will have to be in your footsteps as that Porongurup area looks awesome. That art installation looks worthy of a visit too not to mention the spectacular Castle Rock. Thanks for sharing.
It was "silly old women" I would never be game to call her a cow 😂😂 especially an old one!! 😂Shame you had to cut your trip short, Pemberton area is another beautiful part of WA. Hope you enjoy your time in the Porongurup area, we found it to be just spectacular! Unfortunately, the art installation was just running over the Easter weekend, but hopefully there is something else along those lines to look at. Hope your arm is now all ok, great you are back out there camping!
The Stirling Ranges has some magnificent sights to see that’s for sure and Granite Skywalk was also a massive highlight for us too. Crazy to think how it all formed and the history behind that rock. The drone footage really gives it some perspective but it’s definitely so high up and we can totally understand how breathtaking those views are whilst you’re up there, something so beautiful 🤩 Sad to hear about your arm Miranda at least you had a glass of wine on board to take away some of the pain that you would have felt. Hopefully you’re feeling better really soon nothing worse than being one handed.
The Skywalk is just beautiful isn't it! We really live in such a beautiful state. Yep the wine definitely helped at the time 😂 still trying to get it right but we will get there 💪
Hi Craig and Miranda, this is the first time I write you a comment but I have been quietly following your channel for a few months now. We have a Robson XTT camper trailer too so I find your video about tips and tricks and setups extremely helpful. I just spotted from this video that you have two stone guard bags. May I ask what brand it is and how you’ve installed it as I don’t remember seeing a gap btw the vertical panel and the base. TIA. Lin from Melbourne.
Hi Lin! Thanks for watching we really appreciate it 😊 we got the stone guard buddies from navigator. We needed to lever a gap at the bottom of the guard to fit the strap. They are great though for the extra space. Happy camping in your Robbo!

Wow spectacular

Thoroughly enjoyed watching you guys explore your incredible country. Hey could you share which smartwatch you are wearing.
Thanks mate!! My watch is a Garmin Venu 2. Appreciate all your support 🍻
What a lovely woven tile Miranda. Just gorgeous.
Thank you, I completely agree 😁😁
What a stunning area 😍 Not sure I would have the guts to do the skywalk, but well done to Miranda for making it up. Looking forward to next episode!
Such a pretty area, can't believe it took is this long to get there! Thanks for watching 😊

Scones try the easiest method 3 cups flour 1 cup cream and 1 can lemonade cant go wrong best scones ever
They sound good! Will definitely be giving them a go, Thanks for the recipe 😀
Random question: Craig, are you a geologist or work is a similar field?
No I actually drive a garage truck 😂 I just find it all very fascinating 😊
