Time to revive a faded, sun-bleached mcm 9-drawer dresser. With some TLC I give this vintage piece of furniture a new lease-on-life and unlock its hidden potential as a pretty cool contemporary low-boy with many more years left in its tank! 🤣

Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
It's a huge difference! Love an odies oil finish, it's so soft and beautiful. Lot of work though! I hope you received a good payday👍
Thanks. I love ODIE’S too! I used the Super duper product because it’s more spreadable and easier on a big piece. 😉
Hi,
The dresser looks great. Really nice job. And it's the size of a small boat. Thank goodness it was in good shape. That would have been a lot of work. I have a suggestion. The before and after, specifically the after still photo that advertises this episode kinda spoils the excitement and anticipation of not knowing how it would look. Love your show.
Thanks
Thanks for nice words and the feedback! ☺️
agree 100%
I fed all day off your videos and have only one left to watch. Beautiful, beautiful work. I think y'all up in Canada have access to better pieces than I do here in the American South. I never see pieces like this! :)
Thanks so much! I do source my pieces from all over the place, auctions, thrift stores, roadside finds, FBM. The thrill of the find is half the fun! 😂
Nice to see that crazy good grain now that the old finish is gone. Great job!
😘
Beautiful! Looks brand new! Wow! You definitely found your client a very envious 9 drawer dresser and restored it perfectly. Really wonderful, gorgeous piece!
Thanks so much! 😊

Yup! The walnut grain speaks for itself!
Congratulations on a very successful work. You should be proud of your talent. Greetings

That is beautiful work!
Thanks. It had good bones to start with! 😂
Wow! Meticulous thoughtful work. I dream to have breath of knowledge to be able to fully realize a piece such as this! Your newest admirer! Sounds like you're a Canadian?
Ha! 😅Thanks! I am 🇨🇦 - If you haven't done a lot of refinishing before, just start with small, cheap pieces, that way when you goof up (and you will, I know I did), you won't be devastated! :)
Gorgeous 😊
thanks! 😀
Stunning job.
Thanks! 😊
Stunning.
Thank you!😊
Very good job!🌷🌷
Thank you very much
just stunning
🥰
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
What a stunner! Can you share why you used the Odies dark instead of the clear?
Thank you. I used the dark because it’s what I had on hand! And the Super Duper oil is a bit more spreadable than the regular ODIE’S.
amazing!
Thanks for the "amazing" comment 🤗
Absolutely gorgeous ❤ love it 😍
If I had the room I would have kept it! 😂
What do you use to apply the dark oil? I've seen many methods, but I'm always looking to learn.
I apply the Odie’s oil with Mirka Mirlon grey pad. It works without scratching the surface. Hope that helps! 😊
Beautiful wood grain. It's amazing how it matches all across the front in one pattern. You really did a good job on it. I personally would have done a clear oil, but your job is fantastic work.
Thanks, it was definitely a good piece of furniture!
Wow..How it was meant to be !!
I agree!
