This is interesting and semi helpful, got my first pair of heels about a month or so ago, 3in block heel sandals, except the floor where i live is literaly covered in junk, so since i got them ive been learning on uneven terain (im still not great, but i dont need to hold/lean onto things for ballance as much now). Always good seeing heel guides.
I am glad that it is a bit helpful! Three inch block heels are an excellent way to train. I hope you continue to progress and balance like a flamingo very soon!
Very educational! I agree that experience is a BIG factor in being able to fight in heels. Many cavalry boots from the 1600's did have 3 inch heels, but they had much wider heels and toes. I feel that would be the max height if the situation warranted it.
Three inches is what I’d recommend as the max as well, and boots, with laces so you can ensure ankle support. Of course, it would be easier on a horse!
Talented, maybe, but experienced, certainly. Maybe the talent is knowing how to combine all of this together to make something fun and interesting. The swords are just a result of potentially doubtful financial decisions.
Aww thank you! That’s very sweet of you to say. Subs and views, it’s all fickle algorithm stuff. More would be cool, but it could also be better to have a small and fun community. Maybe?
@AdamCeladin small community, polite and supportive people, it seems to work! Though I am sure trolls can see they will be sliced and diced into oblivion if they show up.
If I ever write a story about like a sword fight in formal wear, i desperately want a scene during a lull in the action where our protagonist dramatically kicks them off and puts on a sensible pair of flats before returning to kicking ass.
interesting perspective. One of those things, we can, but should we. I'm sure if you regularly trained with them, you could get more comfortable, but is that a good idea? thanks for sharing and educating!
I'd say it's not a good idea, but at the same time I like showing off my agility, and this is one way to really demonstrate it. I am happy to share and educate, as you well know, and glad you found it interesting!
Hey, stranger! This is Skalla. I'd like to pick your brain visa vis a gaming system I'm cooking up. I don't know how to pm on UA-cam, but I sent you a message on a medium we used often in the past. Please let me hear from you! (Grats on the channel btw, it's awesome! Feel free to delete this post if you want/can seeing as how it's RL and all. I'm so proud of you, gg!)
Oh hey Todd! I hope you’re doing well. Long time since the hyborian shenanigans. My laptop died and I bought a new one, and have yet to install where you would have sent the message. So I’ll sort that out and respond, happy to help with gaming stuff. Channel is pretty interesting, growing a lot recently. Good times indeed!

Great video! Appreciate the seriousness you approached this topic with - while still having fun and kicking ass!
Thanks, Cormac! It was fun, and I like defying the conventions of ageing by showing I can still kick ass. ;)

Why to find someone like that, they must be extremely talented and with a studious mind and a top notch sword collection!

Wow you have totally awesome channel !!! Deserve way more views and subs ,))

@@LaurenDangerShaw Yes thats for sure! Rather small cool community of people you mostly know rather then some huge toxic one of random kids ,))

Thanks, Allie! I am glad you liked it.

Yes, write that scene! Ballet flats are very effective, lots of easy movement in them but they’re still cute! That’s my vote.

like BloodRayne, but she uses two blades like a tonfa or something.
Maybe like that, except I’m not a bunch of pixels on a screen made by code,
Or wait, maybe we all are…dun dun duuuuun
