Some of these mods are some of the most important things in the game. Slippi and Unclepunch helped bring new players to the game, and basically kept the game alive during the pandemic. Big thanks to the modding community of this game.

You should check out beyond melee. It's kinda like a less realistic take on the akaneia build that drastically changes the game and doesn't take Melee's era into consideration. It also changes all of the already existing characters a bit. Also, check out TurboDX. It's a mod for the Akaneia build that adds Daisy, Wario, new skins, and new stages
