- This is our first opportunity to really ride our new Lectric XP bikes. The Lectric bikes performed flawlessly. The ride was about 10 miles with one very steep hill that would put the Lectric bikes to the test.

We almost bought a Lectric bike in Jan. 2020 in Quartzsite AZ. They let us test drive one and we loved it. I agree there are so many advantages to pedal assist (especially up a hill). Thanks for sharing!

Guys, I will say we are envious. We want ebikes. That hill assist is what we’d want it for. Nice ride in a pretty area. I can just see all those trees that line the road in full bloom this spring. Won’t be long now.

We really like our Lectric eBikes! We got them late in the Fall last year and didn't get to do a lot of riding. Looking forward to a change in the weather so we can get them back out again!

We love our Lectric XP bikes too! We rode them quite a bit last summer in West Yellowstone but have not lately due to the weather. We upgraded the seats and seat posts which makes a big difference on long rides. Thanks for sharing! Chris and Barbara

Changing a setting on the display will allow you to go up to 28mph if you wish. Not everyone needs or wants to go that fast. The bike is capable of level 3 but comes with level 2 right out of the box for local code's sake. Level 2: 20mph Level 3: 28mph. There is a chart in the bike's manual that shows the various codes you can change on the bike. The speed level is one of those codes.

Hello, new friends. Jarhead has a Lectric bike but Ginger has balance issues and wants to either get stabilizer wheels or a tricycle.

Kent - I’m 6’ 2” and am wondering if I could ride this bike comfortably? Steve
You could definitely ride this bike no problem. I am 5' 11". The handle bars and seat are easily adjusted. You would have no problem. A lot of people do change the seat to more of a cruiser seat which is wider and softer. Take care Kent and Tami

It’s cool to see those E bikes in action. So when you’re adjusting the speeds, do you have to pedal faster to go along with it? Or is the peddling independent from the speed of the bike? Looks like it handles the hills pretty well too. Nice day for a bike ride.
Hey guys thanks for checking out the video. When adjusting pedal assist you do not have to pedal faster. Everytime you make a full revolution or 2 the pedal assist kicks in. If you don't want to pedal at all just use the throttle. lol. It does have 7 speeds. They are very fun to ride. Can't wait for better weather for camping. Take care. Kent and Tami

Just got a pair for me and the wife. They are great except the seat. What seat is on the white bike? Looks pretty wide and comfy.
Hi Jim. I can't recall the model of seat but it is a Schwinn seat from walmart. My wife really likes it. They had them in the store. I think it was around 20 dollars or so. Thanks for the comment. We love our bikes. Take care. Kent and Tami
