What to do on Mount Titlis in Switzerland? (Travel Guide)

Mount Titlis in Switzerland is one of the high mountain tops of the Swiss Alps that you can visit on your trip to Switzerland. It's in Engelberg and a short train ride away from Lucerne, Switzerland. There is year-round snow for you to enjoy on Mount Titlis. It’s worth a day trip, as while you are there, there are a lot of activities you can do on top of the mountain and also halfway up at Trübsee. Of course, the top at 10`000 feet has cool attractions in store for you. There is of course the famous Titlis Cliff Walk, a round trip cable car called Ice Flyer and the Glacier Cave where you take a walk inside of a real glacier.
The mountain is located just south of Engelberg, that is 30mins from Lucerne. You may take the train or a rental car, up to you! On top of Titlis you will see snow, and the vast scenery of the Swiss Alps. Make sure to bring some warm clothes, as also in summer temperatures rarely rise above 10°C (50°F). You may bring a picnic or enjoy the hospitality on site!
Mount Titlis is worth a visit if you want to experience the Alps with cows, flowers, snow and traditions when you are in the German speaking part in the cities of Zurich, Zug and Lucerne. If you are in other big cities, you may check for other mountain tops that might be closer to you. Unless, Titlis is your bucket list, which it certainly has the quality to be!

Mt. Titlis, I was there, very beautiful place. I bought half fare ticket and took the train from Lucerne. I stayed for 1 night in Engelberg:)

Hey Amir, yes you get half price from Engelberg to Titlis. And Lucerne to Engelberg is included in the Swiss Travel Pass. There is a bus taking you from Engelberg train station to the cable car station or if you like you can walk, it‘s about 10 minutes. Thanks for your feedback, there is more to come 😌
