As a singer, I love this approach. This lets me use my musical freedom to sing the words however slow/fast I want while knowing which section of the lyrics the guitarist is focusing on. I love this more than “traditional” karaoke videos, as I have actual freedom to explore the lyrical side of the music instead of singing to a prompt where each of my notes have to be done at a specified time. Don’t get me wrong, I do like “traditional” karaoke videos when I am unfamiliar/uncomfortable with the song. However, I personally love the freedom this video gives.
Love your content my friend! i suck at singing while playing gutair and these videos help me practice my singing solo, while also having a nicer sound then the ones which simply remove the lyrical portion of the song! i find these covers really help me to express myself more in my singing, allowing for playing around easier with the original sound the song has. Keep it up, really appreciate what you do.
