Just wanted to clarify something. I don't think these attractions will come back in the same form or same spot that they had previously been in. If any of these properties do come back, I believe their ride will be very different from the original. Similar to Kongfrontation coming back as Skull Island Reign of Kong. Same property, very different ride.
As much as I liked Skull Island, these newer rides don’t have the same charm as the old ones. As a child, Kongfrontation hit every thrill button, because it felt real...because the effects were real and not digital.
Hey where is the universal legacy store located at? Inside the park or out in the city walk? I wanted to see if they have any old Jurassic park the ride merch, or any back to the future merch
I'd love to see them create a new ride that is sort of a mix of Transformers/Spider-Man and Skull Island/Fast & the Furious, and do an homage to all of their past rides. Put riders in a car similar to Transformers, and have them go room to room in reenactments of past rides through a mix of virtual reality screens (like Kong: Skull Island and the new Jurassic World Ride remodel) and 4-D effects. Include Jaws, Ghostbusters, Back To the Future, Earthquake, Twister, Terminator 2 show, Kongfrontation, etc... You can make a really cool immersive 4-D ride while also honoring the attractions of the past that so many of us love and miss.
Does anyone have The Beatles theme park rights? They could do something like Aerosmith’s ride in DHS; an indoor fast ride with Yellow Submarine visuals? But not the song though… it wouldn’t make a good match haha
Jaws as an indoor boat ride attraction, set the mood as you're walking through the queue line that you're going on an evening boat trip. They could use the Mack Rocking Boat ride system, ua-cam.com/video/d6srd2tchaA/v-deo.html utilize a few screens here and there, this way the ride doesn't have to take up a ton of space but also be thrilling and make you feel like you're in a bigger area than you actually are.
@@dashkatae It'd be cool as long as they did the screens right... fast and furious is an example of them making a terrible ride with screens. If they could simulate areas like they do in say twister but with an open water setting or through canals, along with shark animatronics, boat being bumped etc. that would be cool
This would most likely never happen, but hear me out. They should do a Legacy Ride with some sort of transportation effect using the BTTF ride as a baseline for this effect. You are transported to opening day at Universal Studios Orlando and see all of these classic rides, maybe not the full rides, but you get to see bits and pieces and the ride is like looking at a universal studios yearbook almost. They could even use multiple different ride types, like a dark ride, screens, and walk through parts. This is kind of what Disney did with the Rise of The Resistance Ride and I think this concept would be so cool and very popular.
Jaws would be amazing. If Universal didn’t want to commit a full ride to it, I think it would be cool to incorporate Jaws into the the (not sure of the name) lagoon in Universal Studios. Imagine being able to just sit there, no waiting in lines, and seeing a Jaws fin randomly popping up. Would just be a cool nod to a classic movie.
@@kkraut Right? And it would be a lot cheaper and constructing an entirely new ride. It would give the illusion that Jaws lives at Universal, even if you never actually see him... kinda like the movie lol
I just went to Universal for the first time yesterday, I literally told the same thing to my group that even a simple fin just in the water would be an amazing tribute!
I'm not sure that an entire land would be desirable. These attractions defined Universal Studios Florida as a park, and so I think it only makes sense for them to go back there. Something that I would like to see is a "Great Movie Ride" for Universal properties, bringing back scenes from Jaws, Earthquake, Twister and Kongfrontation. Back to the Future could be a lot more fleshed out as a series of physical scenes, and you could also add in Backdraft, despite not being part of that particular park. Kids Zone seems to have a lot of prime real-estate for something like this. Edit: The more I think about it, the more I realize could be done. If River Adventure gets rethemed to Jurassic World, then obviously you'd be missing that element of Jurassic Park as a franchise. This might be an unpopular opinion here because the movie wasn't great, but I'd like to see an animatronic Spinosaurus somewhere in this "Universal Classic Films" attraction.
feel like Back to the Future can work as a great slot car style ride similar to Test Track and Cars Land where you ride in a delorean through different dark ride show scenes and then at the end have a portion where you go fast to reach "88 mph" to return to the present
What about a slot car and roller coaster hybrid? I think keeping it as a car rather than making it a ridiculously long coaster train would keep us believing that we’re in a DeLorean. But also have the high speed of a roller coaster with twists and turns.

I'll never forget the first time because it was raining hard and we were dressed in yellow ponchos getting drenched by the rain. It was only me and my grandmother that went on the ride. We were horror movie buddies and we loved Jaws. The heavy rain we were in really enhanced the experience, making it WAY more terrifying! And the fact that we were also in yellow ponchos was the subtle icing on the cake that made it even scarier because in one of the sequels at the very beginning of the movie, a guy gets eaten by Jaws and he's in a yellow poncho/raincoat. I got to experience the ride one other time in my life before it closed down. The weather was clear that day so I got to experience it the "normal" way but it wasn't the same for 2 reasons...1. The bad weather the first visit actually added to it and made it better. 2. and more importantly...my grandmother was no longer with us 😥 She was all I could think about during the ride and it just wasn't the same. With the plans of a new park it would be easy for them to implement a Studio Tour style attraction to visit all those rides since most of them would be housed in their own buildings so transitioning to each one wouldn't be a big deal. It's also evident that they are liking the new 3D screens that wrap around the guests since they can cram more into a smaller space and still give the illusion you traveled a longer distance and the gimbals they use under each car combined with the action on the screens can even make a stationary ride feel like you are racing around in the action. The Hollywood Park didn't have to remove much to add them to their studio tour after having to rebuild from the Backlot fire of 08 and they have more traveling around to get to each set than what Orlando would need to do and Orlando wouldn't need a driver and a tour guide just a driver. The route could wrap around the outside of the rest of the park so there wouldn't be any guest foot traffic in the path of the cars and the sides of the buildings could double as backdrops in the park. The Jaws portion could be like Hollywood's and be a small lake so it wouldn't require a large footprint to build but instead of a dock have them dive into the water with a parting the sea setup so the shark can swim right up into the cars for the scare instead of popping up along side of it. The options to bring them back in a working model are there just need to have the right team working on the plans to get it done so they don't blow their budget doing it.
I would love to go on another trip in the DeLorean again. I never saw Back To The Future as a kid but I LOVED the ride. I remember my mom- a woman who rides rollercoasters- screaming and freaking out on the ride while I- a kid with fear of any kind of thrill ride- was screaming and laughing the entire time. 🥰 I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid and especially got excited when the Tyrannosaurus Rex showed up!
IF Ghostbusters returned to USF, even though this would rip my heart out because it’s such a good ride, I’d have them take over the New York section a replace not Jimmy Fallon (though it needs to go), but Revenge of the Mummy. They could recreate NYC like they did in Kong, only it’s overrun with ghosts and you take part in trying to catch as many as you can. All leading towards an encounter with a “Kong” sized Stay-Puft marshmallow man.
Back to the Future because it is awesome, and I've been a fan all my life. Once I conquered my fears, my father reward me with a Miniature Delorean Time Machine merchandise; they had available at the time.
Back to the Future fits so well into the standard Universal ride plot of "You're in an institute, possibly against your free will, and the science is going to science you into near-death"
How about Scooby-Doo meets the Universal Monster ride. It could introduce kids to these characters especially some of the lesser known ones like Creature of the Black Lagoon with out it being scary.
@@AttractionIdeas New! Jurassic World: River Adventure® (Indominus Rex And T-Rex) Life Finds A Way Coming To Universal Orlando Resort™ Islands Of Adventure®
Back to the Future will always have legs, it’s one of if not the best trilogy ever and most recognisable and beloved. I always imagined a ride like Test Track at Disney but it’s the Delorean trying to reach 88mph. So you’d have the launch near the start.
A land dedicated to the legacy rides might actually make logistical sense for Universal - not only do you bring back tons of guests for nostalgia factor, but you also appeal to the guests who prefer the old style of rides over these new screen based attractions. Furthermore, this also solves the issue of them not being able to build anything in the woody the woodpecker childs play area because of ET. ET can be moved to the legacy land, and the current E.T home could very easily be rethemed to stranger things, a very popular license that they have already used before and that whole area could be rethemed to Hawkins with a scoops ahoy and arcade.
you get more views than you have subs in every video about Universal Orlando. keep up the great work! also, keep doing the universal orlando videos. they are by far my favorite and they get you the best results as a creator.
What about a BttF screen ride where you time travel to the old Universal Park and you go through snippets of the old rides. You crash into the Jaws ride and water sprays you, and then you fly through twister and wind hits you, stuff like that. Then you just have one ride that satisfies everyone.
Here me out, Universal should make a Back to The Future roller coaster where the trains are designed to look like DeLorean’s and it goes from 0-88mph which also makes it the fastest in Florida
If they did a classic section of the park an interesting idea instead of the Hogwarts Express use back to the future to conect the parks like have people go back in time to when those rides were used
Jaws should come back definitely. BTTF as much as I want it back I feel is pretty dated now and should be remade, like star tours. I'd be up for ghostbusters and hanna barbera getting a new attraction but other than that I'm fine with what we have now
What about a Back to the Future ride in which the riders go through several scenes of the old, fan beloved attractions? Instead of a whole land dedicated to older rides, how about one big ride that sums it up? Maybe not the exact thing, but to me it seems the most realistic way of bringing back all of the older attractions that older audience members loved and remembered. Maybe like a Jaws, Ghost busters, Disaster mashup and afterwards, Doc brings the guests to the present with an emphasis that we can always hope for the future while remembering the past or something.
Why wouldn’t they do a retro Universal land? It would sell massively. If they can make a How To Train Your Dragon land, they can make a retro Universal land.
One thing i remember about the Doc Brown walk around character is the last time i was there (2017) my family and i decided to see how in character he'd be and upon asking our names we said we were Jennifer, Marty, and Biff and, without skipping a beat, this guy went to protect my dad and sister (coincidence, don't make it weird) from me (Biff) COMPLETELY in character. I'm not sure how often this happens but it made my day
My mom went to universal in Hollywood years before I was born and never told me until like 5 months ago and when I heard that she rode back to the future the ride, I got so jealous
I think they could do a monster theatre. Have rotating shows. You could include Beetle Juice, Scooby Doo, and Ghost Busters. You could also do rotating meet and greets in dark universe.
IDK about 'Twister' or 'Earthquake', but most of those IPs, such 'Jaws' 'Beetlejuice' 'Ghostbusters' & 'BTTF' are ICONIC. I think there SHOULD be a section just for timeless attractions! Hell, they could even theme it to 'Ready Player One', and it would still work! But some of them probably won't come back the same; possibly in the form of shows or more updated attractions.
my vote is to see BTTF The Ride to come back. I rode it at the California park and I loved it. Plus, now you have The Musical being staged in London which gives it even more of a profile for this.

I want Ghostbusters to have a dark ride at Universal Studios Florida in a similar fashion to the Men in Black dark ride but with a Ghostbusters theme!
I like this idea!! Put it with Jaws in the lost continent
That would be perfect
A Ghostbusters shooter ride is meant to be!!
Love the idea of a Stay Puft encounter. That'd be sick
Terminator was an amazing ride & twister. Loved it over what’s replaced by it.
Back to the Future because it is awesome, and I've been a fan all my life. Once I conquered my fears, my father reward me with a Miniature Delorean Time Machine merchandise; they had available at the time.
No one:
Attraction Ideas: “It has legs”
When you mentioned John Williams I realized he has such a big connection with the park. With E.T., Harry Potter, and what was, Jaws.
Yeah he’s done an unbelievable amount in his career
Great video mate. Extremely underrated content, keep it up
10:33-10:57 I laughed when you went on that tirade against Barney.
I've been saying for years that they have to do a Terminator house for HHN. Knew I wasn't the only one.
I think they will bring these back as new attractions like let’s say they may make back to the future a roller coaster like the original plans.
Back to the Future fits so well into the standard Universal ride plot of "You're in an institute, possibly against your free will, and the science is going to science you into near-death"
I do wish there would be a Legacy area. Some of these rides deserve to come back
They should bring Jaws to Epic Universe and make it longer and scarier
Hell, yes! I was never really a Harry Potter Fan , anyway. Bring back Jaws, the Ride... to Universal Studios Hollywood, instead!
In theory, if the BTTF scenes were shot on old school film, Universal could restordem to 4K (or beyond) and they would look great
I got to ride this when I was 1 years old and some how I didn’t get scared I guess I enjoyed it
I think they’ll honor JAWS when Universal Monsters open up and they make a Creature from the Black Lagoon river ride in their expansion for the park.
You need way more subscribers you are one of the best theme park UA-cam I can find
How about Scooby-Doo meets the Universal Monster ride. It could introduce kids to these characters especially some of the lesser known ones like Creature of the Black Lagoon with out it being scary.
That could work
@@AttractionIdeas New! Jurassic World: River Adventure® (Indominus Rex And T-Rex) Life Finds A Way Coming To Universal Orlando Resort™ Islands Of Adventure®
@@AttractionIdeas maybe a Barney crossover with the universal monsters for epic universe
Back to the Future will always have legs, it’s one of if not the best trilogy ever and most recognisable and beloved. I always imagined a ride like Test Track at Disney but it’s the Delorean trying to reach 88mph. So you’d have the launch near the start.
Facts!!
Awesome video! I would love to see it back to the future come back! Since the park loves doing 3-D attractions they could really up it up a notch!
ET can be moved to the legacy land, and the current E.T home could very easily be rethemed to stranger things, a very popular license that they have already used before and that whole area could be rethemed to Hawkins with a scoops ahoy and arcade.
this makes sense but something about moving et doesn’t sit right with me. i feel like the smell might be gone if that building goes
you get more views than you have subs in every video about Universal Orlando. keep up the great work! also, keep doing the universal orlando videos. they are by far my favorite and they get you the best results as a creator.
It's fun to think about all of these old ride credits I got as a kid becoming more rare, I kind of like it even if the upgrades are often better.
Kong came back because of Legendary's monster vers. If Ghost Busters afterlife dose well I can see that theme coming back.
If your wondering what that eight-bit ghost buster music is,I can tell its from the UA-cam Channel,8-bit universe
11:24 don’t forget they also had Ghost Busters vs Beetle Juice for a street show at universal Orlando
Such an underrated channel. Love your videos man!
This channel is massively underated.
Well they have two of these open at Universal Studios Japan. BTTF was open until 2016.
I remember when Kings Island had Scooby Doo. Their ride was such a classic. Loved it.
I love the idea of a Terminator haunted house
What about a BttF screen ride where you time travel to the old Universal Park and you go through snippets of the old rides. You crash into the Jaws ride and water sprays you, and then you fly through twister and wind hits you, stuff like that. Then you just have one ride that satisfies everyone.
Absolutely love your videos. Currently binging
Here me out, Universal should make a Back to The Future roller coaster where the trains are designed to look like DeLorean’s and it goes from 0-88mph which also makes it the fastest in Florida
Loved the Jaws ride in 1976 as a kid and I'm from South Africa Never forgot it the people loved it!!!! 🌍😇🙏💖💕👋
I just noticed u used the music loop from Hollywood blvd at Hollywood studios at the beginning of the video. Great video though !!
John Williams, you know the guy who did Jurassic Park and ET.... some other stuff too probably....
BTTF is probably the best and only contender
6:15 *O O F*
If they did a classic section of the park an interesting idea instead of the Hogwarts Express use back to the future to conect the parks like have people go back in time to when those rides were used
Also Jaws still has a themed parking garage that they haven’t rethemed and Kong has one and they brought that back
Unbelievable channel! Unbelievable video! My hero!
I would love to see Jaws, Twister, and Earthquake to come back in a "Disaster Events" themed area.
Turn Barney into a Halloween horror nights attraction... you’re welcome
AMEN TO YOUR BARNEY SPEECH
Jaws was always the best for our family, something about actually being in the boat on the water….my kids all loved it…
One thing i remember about the Doc Brown walk around character is the last time i was there (2017) my family and i decided to see how in character he'd be and upon asking our names we said we were Jennifer, Marty, and Biff and, without skipping a beat, this guy went to protect my dad and sister (coincidence, don't make it weird) from me (Biff) COMPLETELY in character. I'm not sure how often this happens but it made my day
If mummy ride is going to close I think they could make a Beetlejuice indoor coaster
Yeah but i dont see it being closed anytime soon.
Same
My mom went to universal in Hollywood years before I was born and never told me until like 5 months ago and when I heard that she rode back to the future the ride, I got so jealous
I think they could do a monster theatre. Have rotating shows. You could include Beetle Juice, Scooby Doo, and Ghost Busters. You could also do rotating meet and greets in dark universe.
Keep the universal videos coming!
ONE OF THEM NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO EPIC UNIVERSE!
I want that Terminator 3D attraction back(Maybe add stuff from Dark Fate).
11:00 Phoebe: We need to finish this what our grandfather started.
I am very hyped for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Scooby Doo and Beetlejuice could become a crossover ride promoting the Monsters IP at Epic!
The Mummy (Classic) should also have a home in a Universal Monsters section at Universal’s Epic Universe!
Skull Island: Reign of Kong < Kongfrontation.
The tour in Hollywood is great
IDK about 'Twister' or 'Earthquake', but most of those IPs, such 'Jaws' 'Beetlejuice' 'Ghostbusters' & 'BTTF' are ICONIC. I think there SHOULD be a section just for timeless attractions! Hell, they could even theme it to 'Ready Player One', and it would still work! But some of them probably won't come back the same; possibly in the form of shows or more updated attractions.
I personally don’t like the Simpson’s land but I would love to see a back to the future roller coaster that would be really entertaining
Imagine if universal got more land to make more attractions
If only...
my vote is to see BTTF The Ride to come back. I rode it at the California park and I loved it. Plus, now you have The Musical being staged in London which gives it even more of a profile for this.
15:40 he also did Jaws, Harry Potter, Superman, and Indiana Jones to name a few. Oh yeah, and Star Wars.
