Joe Jay in fairness in the club I’d rather unreal song selection over production talent. Not saying Skream isn’t a massive selector because of course he is, but Fat Tony is class in a club scene 🤷♂️
Was supposed to meet tony in a recording studio in the late 90s but he didnt turn up but no hard feelings at all , so glad he got clean , my dad always talks of him as a legend
This is one awesome documentary! I’ve watched it again. Tony is so brutally honest and it sure made me shed a few tears, emotion plus! Love how he has turned his life around. Kia Kaha Tony ♥️

From taking his first lines from Freddie Mercury to getting Boy George sober, what a life. I could feel the regret he had from not finishing his album though, damn. Fantastic work here.
Addiction is worse than cancer. Most people don’t come back once they’ve gone that far. Tony is lucky to be alive, nice to see him enjoying the simple things in life now.
He got payed 3 grand a week to do copious amounts of drugs, meet upcoming djs and listen to every type of underground music there was, and had to go through the whole cycle before realising that he was losing grip.Respect mate you got through the hardest test of your life and survived.👍
Great piece! I always wonder how many of us there are still alive & kicking in 2020. I think you answered it for me. Those were some crazy ass days. How I made out alive is a mystery to me. I watched so many leave this earth in heap. We just propped them up in a corner and kept dancing.
Remember a night FT played alongside Dirty Mike & The Boyz at the F-Shack in SE2. We took a fair few Purple Bell-Tops that night. Pure class. Best regards, Cleg Smegson
I remember him at Trade, but during those years this lifestyle was normality, we all survived how I don't know, we were lucky because those years were years of debauchery, but lot of fun 😆 I don't regret anything 🤣
As a parent of a son who is an addict , I'd advise anyone who feels like they want to get sober , to attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings , my son was going downhill very fast until he went to an NA meeting , and he is sober now
Had some banging nights in the wag club in the early 90's .. I was a serving soldier at the time & went there with other squaddie mates .some messy nights for sure .. the place was the best hangout in London for dj's & meeting famous faces .. would head to sunny side up after a Saturday night there to see in sunday day .. messy times but best times . Went to the cross in kings cross aswell basically flipped from wag to cross ..
Blimey !!!! I knew Boy Georges bro Keith and this lovely loony Tony .. Mostly at Limelights, buzbys milk bar and shoom .. I still dj, but was not used much because i wasnt really into drugs and definately not drink. I would love to b2b with him still. So thankful he is looking alive and better.
What a fun personality. A walking history book for us aging rave and club kids. I could do without all the gossip and name-dropping though but he was probably baited
Everyone knocking around the club scene has some great stories from the late 80's and 90's . . . funny though ,, , I remember going to the Palladium in NYC and the Wag Club back in the day ... Ps. Dont do drugs kids
As someone whose lived the fucking insanity that was the late nineties and early thousands I can say that sadly I’ve lost my best friends to drugs and it’s fucking wretching because we were just having fun. They’re not dead but they are to me and that’s so sad 😭.
I think anyone who loves to rave, has had the thought of how much money one has spent on drugs & how many days they have stayed up for! It's an passion 🖖🏾
