They also had little classes for candle making I believe. I remember seeing hundreds of students running around in the capes, it was just like Harry Potter. I recommend visiting this place. I worked at British Hills for 8 months back in 2017 as both a Receptionist and Tour Guide in the Manor House (Castle), and also in Ye Old Gift Shoppe!
It was honestly one of the best jobs I have ever had! Got a chance to meet so many amazing people, and all the management were so lovely to me.
Genuinely, if anyone is looking to do a Working Holiday in Japan, and are from the Commonwealth, then British Hills is the place to go!
There is a shuttle bus from the hotel that staff can use to get to the nearest down of Shin-Shirakawa, which has a Shinkansen Station that is only 1 hours ride to Tokyo, or Sendai. So getting away for a couple of days to explore Japan is very easy!

I've seen enough of you on Chris' channels and love watching you two together... Came over from the $12,000 penthouse video and I have to say I'd of got excited over the coffee machine like you did while my partner would be lavishing it up with the rest of it xD And just threw you a sub!

Chris and Connor as a couple are making Joey and Garnt look bad. I think once Sydney and Aki see this they should demand the same romance Chris is providing Connor.

I've been setting up a wifi network this week in an Eiizabethan manor house and can conclude this is authentic apart from the fact the floors are flat and the rooms are perfectly square which was definitely not a thing in the 1570's apparently.

Is there an Escape room in Japan? That should be on your next to do list for both of you.

I love how the more Connor enjoys the meal the more British he sounds.

I have to say, their selection of Scotch at 14:18 is on point. Those are all pretty good single malts, nothing blended or less than 10 years old. Very nice attention to detail, I hope you two took the opportunity to partake.

You say if you go to Britain now you wont see this but you will. when I'm house hunting I see this everywhere those old classic sofas often with awful flower patterns and a rug that does not match, the big bulky wooden but beautiful cabinets and tables etc its all there. Its amazing I love all the wood and stone details

3:35 awesome! My home town. I actually worked at this castle for a year helping translate for Japanese tourists.
