Your comment only shows how irresponsible you are, especially when you can't even copy/paste properly.
I am from Sweden, and there's Swedish houses in Japan too, called Sweden Hills. "Swedish-style village in Tōbetsu, Hokkaidō in Japan". Heard about it when i was young.
I've seen pictures of that place, it's Eerie, knowing that it's in Hokkaido... because it's scarily accurate. Well except for the fact that the Trees aren't the same, different Evergreens and the lack of Autumn Forests, and actual birch trees, no blood beeches... Oh and the least accurate part is that the place looks like it's alive... Unlike Sweden, which looks dead all the time, even during late spring because not even the nature here enjoys being here.
I used to live in house like that! Grade 2 listed, old beams etc. We didn't even modernise it much because we rented for a few years. Loads of the houses in the village looked like that. Add a tv and modern kitchen inside, and a co-op/post office combo outside and I'd be convinced
Ok, my fist impression was that the "castle" was a bit of a letdown compared to the rest because, from the outside, it looked a bit like a cheap facade thrown onto otherwise normal building, like you'd see at an amusement park. But when they returned for dinner, and we saw the inside HOLY SHIT! I take it all back as they clearly sunk an obscene amount of effort into that building. In fact, if we judge a place by the effort someone put into it, then that place is an easy 11/10 for me.
I get why Chris says that he has to “babysit” Connor when they’re together. In the videos with Chris he does come off as more childlike and adorable. It’s cute. The food made me hungry! I have to say, their selection of Scotch at 14:18 is on point. Those are all pretty good single malts, nothing blended or less than 10 years old. Very nice attention to detail, I hope you two took the opportunity to partake.
Honestly, as a British person who's grown up in the countryside in England, as well as having many holidays in Whales to visit family, these houses are scarily spot-on. Though, due to new and more modern properties, these houses remind me of the local pubs scattered everywhere .... definitely a bit freaky....

Joking rivalry aside, this was really pleasant to watch; it reminded me of some of the older north-eastern American towns. My adoptive family's home had a lot of the same interior & I love the feel of closing an iron latched door.
I knew that the castle reminds of some jdrama! Once Connor and Chris explored inside, it was the same castle they used in the 2005 Hana Yori Dango/ Boys over Flowers starring Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao! It’s nice to see that the castle is still well cared off !
Fun fact originally you would take things off the communal platters to your own plate with a serving item and then eat the treats with your hands. The idea was everything was supposed to be finger food, and that's why the lace gloves ladies used to wear visiting/for afternoon tea were fingerless. So Chris actually got it right.

@@AxxLAfriku You only have to finish it 1 time and you can't even do that much? Stop trying to randomly promote yourself on other people's channels and go finish school. Life isn't about always doing what you feel like doing, especially with a tiny channel that can go south overnight. That's childish, and don't call yourself "a star". No one likes that sort of arrogance. Don't put all your eggs in one basket just because you're "bored" right now. I am from Sweden, and there's Swedish houses in Japan too, called Sweden Hills. "Swedish-style village in Tōbetsu, Hokkaidō in Japan". Heard about it when i was young.
I'm commenting hoping they'll see this and go! ^^
They is also a 1 on 1 scale of the Netherlands aswell
Whattt I'm a swede too, didn't know about that so I googled and apparently they also celebrate swedish traditions as well, pretty cool
@The Major Don't know if you're sarcastic or not, but it does not look dead all the time. Jeez.

The food made me hungry! I love the quality of the video. Everything is beautifully shot and edited. It’s very calming watching these two just enjoying their time somewhere interesting.

I have to say, their selection of Scotch at 14:18 is on point. Those are all pretty good single malts, nothing blended or less than 10 years old. Very nice attention to detail, I hope you two took the opportunity to partake.
the best part is that this is typically a schoolchildren's destination
I'm glad Mousey could eat while disguised as a Chris. That's very high tech! Props to whoever built the humatronic.
Honestly, as a British person who's grown up in the countryside in England, as well as having many holidays in Whales to visit family, these houses are scarily spot-on.
This is true, but the cakes intended to be eaten with ones hands are usually considerably smaller lol

Can you imagine how I felt being a Dutch going to the Huis ten Bosch theme park in Japan near Nagasaki? The windmills even named 'de dromer', 'de waker' en 'de slaper', authentic hang-bridges, de 'Dom Toren', a hotel resembling Amsterdam Centraal, and then of course the palace itself.
