The Virus of Life wouldve been a banger menu theme lyrically and tonally- since the lyrics are literally someone basically sneaking up on someone to do god knows what. But this song definitely encapsulates the bulk of slipknot songs, i just wish Iron Maiden had a longer loop like this slipknot one.
They kinda do have the same loop, with both being around 60-70 seconds long. It's just that IM's is much calmer and more seemless, whereas Slipknot's is more fast-paced and you can hear exactly where that loop cuts off.

Dying Song, Devil in I, and Wait and Bleed are goated. I feel like it's unfair to label their more death metal stuff as mindless, but I'm with you in that I like that heaviness paired with some really good melodies, and I feel like these three songs of theirs are like perfect balance

Corporates probably wanted to sell the latest album as much as possible, so they just straight-forwardly included it in the game instead of something from Iowa that would've probably indirectly brought more people to buy TESF and TESF merch. Plus they probably thought including something not from TESF would just be admitting that other albums are better than the latest one, so why buy it?
