Hello sis, we're in our forever home. It' not a very expensive home, I would say stay in your budget. We can afford something more, but we didn't want to be house poor. We're in an older home slowly updating it. We wanted to make sure we could enjoy extra things comfortably ❤

Honestly, our current home I would say is our forever home... my husband and I bought this home 17 years ago (It was a new build so we moved in after it was built, 15 years ago). We loved it then and we still love it now. If we were to buy again though, things we'd want are: 2 car garage 9 ft ceilings A bigger laundry room and a bigger pantry An official office. We've renovated our driveway (to fit 2 cars because we have 3 vehicles and only 1 garage), our kitchen, our primary bathroom, our backyard deck, and now finishing our basement. So it looks a lot different than when we bought it. I feel like ppl can definitely make their current homes what they want if they are willing to put in the time and money. I totally get just buying a place that gives you everything you want without the renos though. Lol! I hope when you guys do buy a home you will share the process with us! I'd love to see that! ❤

Hey girl! You did such an amazing job on your house! I love the chore chart for the kids. As far as cleaning the bathroom, it really just depends on my mood that day. I always use disinfecting wipes on my toilet because it's handy, and I can throw them away. I always use the Lysol power toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet. As far as everything else though, it just depends on what smell motivates me. I really love using Dawn power wash on my shower and bathtub. I think that cleans it the best. Didn't I learn that trick from you? On my vanities that's where I vary. I go between Mrs. Meyers, Scentiva, or the dawn power wash. My dream house - my house is old, but I love it! We are very slowly renovating it as we save up the money to do it. We've renovated our bathrooms, replaced all the windows, and this year we replaced our HVAC system. Next, I want to replace all of our exterior doors. Then I want to have painters come paint all of the rooms. Then replace the carpet. Have built-ins built in our den on both sides of the fireplace... so many things I want to do. But I'm so grateful and blessed to have this home as it is. I love the quote and your channel! I’m in an apartment and #1 on my list for our future home is a washer and dryer as I have to use the laundromat because the struggle is real with our complexes laundry rooms(plural). The next thing would be an upgraded dish washer. Not sure if I’d hand wash anyways but having it there halfway washing our dishes is annoying…. Mine has an old smell that I haven’t been able to get rid of in 2 years so I don’t even use it for drying
Amen! I know the struggles of going to the laundromat that was the way I washed clothes most of my life lol & I'm sure you probably tried everything but have you tried the affresh dishwasher tablets? Those might help.
