The songs awakened memories when I was a teenager. Now I am 74. I am glad I lived life then.
Am 75+ and this song has been one of my favourites ever since I first heard it then. Utube is the only media that I could use to hear all these wonderful music of my younger years and brought back memories of my youth.

I was thirteen, lived in a small village in Bali, when I found this treasure: an old cassette in my elder brother's drawer. & 30 years later, the memories and emotions bring me back to the green rice field and coconut palms 9000 miles from where am I now..

My Wife and I would walk through the woods here. Now I cry as she died of a heart attack 20 years ago at 48. Heart problem ran on her Father's side of her family.

20 years ago and today you take your time to write a note about your Wife and you cry. I lost mine 10 years ago at 61. Parkinson she got it 20 years earlier. I cry so many times when I hear this son, too. Lyle Johnson, we will be with them again someday. Take care. Love is so beautiful like magic.

One of the greatest folk songs of all time.now they dont write song like this.
I wasn't born when this song became a smashing-hit. A couple of years ago, just came across it by pure coincidence, and man.... it just brought me to the place where is unknown to me, however, deep down, I indeed desire to at least drop by at this place once and for a while.
The think the combination of the voices, the lyrics, the music bring the message all together.
Try to listen filipino singer victor wood's rendition of this song.you'll like it too for sure.

This song I heard of my neighbors three guys singing during 5:00pm and drinking the red wine from the coconut mix the eggs and chocolate syrup we called kenotel I missed when I was a teenagers worlds this song by the Brothers Four famous during afternoons 4:00pm to 3:00am during Friday night and Saturday night that time I was 16 yrs old, February 7, 1977 my three neighbors they singing songs from Brothers Four Engelbert Humperdinck Tom Jones Everly Brothers Lettrmen and many more from all oldies mens me & all my neighbors were enjoy listening to all songs they singing on that then we going home each other on next day followed the day we so happy and enjoy they singing all oldies on the next day the fire was broke out in our neighbor’s house was on fire all the people was so panic caused near of my home …

It took me 5 years to remember the title and artist of this song. I had to search through a montage of 50s and 60s music and finally found it. Great song!

There are two such songs that I have been looking for, for years. And another one that is on UA-cam, that no one knows the name of or the singer. Although I think it is a lost song by Maurice Gibb from the sound of the voice.
The two I'm looking for, I barely remember how to describe them because the memory has faded over the years. But I will instantly know them when I hear them again.

When I was in grade 4, our lady adviser wrote the lyrics of this song on the blackboard and requested all of us her pupils to memorize the song. I'm not so sure why she made us do that. My wild guess was she was either in love that time or had been rejected by her dream boy. :D
