I actually never new Samantha developed these brushes and I watch her and her sister's channel all the time, I've always wanted the brushes because they always use them and now I know why haha, can't wait to get my hands on them :)
Hi! I bought a few month ago the real techniques starter set and I love it and "more", why? well because I could and still can reuse the fine liner brush after being damaged: I bought the set from an online brand and after using the brush on the second time the hair desappeared into the handle, I broke the handle to get the hair back and superglued the hair back again and it works perfectly. the handle is not quite lovely to see but the hair is so good that seemed never suffer any damaged. very good quality indid. thanks. XXXX
Can you only buy these brushes online or can you buy them in store. If so, where can I buy it, because you do not seem to be able to buy it in Walmart in the store. What about Target?
Thanks for the comment. Some of the brushes that they sell individually are thinner and still can't stand up. I think the thicker the handles can only stand up.
Does it make a difference that the brushes I just got from Amazon have both Sam and Nic on the cases and brushes? And in the purple set, the eyeliner brush is called fine liner brush and comes in a grey/white case
Hi Ameleah, these set's are quite confusing but I'll try to explain. The purple set with the matte handles and black or white/grey case is called the Starter Brush Kit. The Ultimate Eye Set looks exactly like this kit but it has shading brush instead of the accent brush and the case comes with a mirror. The Eyelining set comes with chrome handles, a metallic pouch, and only 4 brushes. I know this is so confusing but Real Techniques recently changed their packaging and went away with the black cases but if you purchase the Starter Brush Kit, the brushes in this video are exactly what your getting.
Wow I didn't know that, it's probably so expensive because they don't have many distributors in Australia to push this product. Hopefully you can look past the cost and pick some up anyways, they are really great brushes.
Love this video!! Great details and the quality! I am so happy that my viewers will be able to see this video under mine because it is so helpful. Thanks for sharing ;)
YES!!!! No body ever mentions this but please wash your brand new brushes before you use them. They come directly from the factory, then it sits on the shelf, maybe gets touched by others, and then finally gets handed to you. I always was my brushes before I use them, no matter how excited I am just to start using them. Good luck!
Tanya Trowers Thanks, I know. The line actually now includes Nic Chapman as part of their branding. If you have older brushes or products they say "realTechniques by Samantha Chapman" and if you have newer brushes they say "realTechniques by Sam & Nic Chapman".
Thank you for this review, i just noticed i got ripped off, i brought some which she stated are authentic after watching this video mines are clearly a knock off
I bought real techniques brushes online and it says its real but there are scratches on the brushes and the name is rubbing off the rest it good quality.
Simran Ayoob I bougth RT just recently at SM suppermalls and the metal easily got scratched. I guess its normal. The embossed writings also got easily remove so sad... But Im pretty sure its orig
Does anybody know why my Real Techniques brushes that I just bought have both Nic + Sam at the back? It says at the bottom that it was 'made' around 2014. I don't want to have to know that it's fakeeeeee.
+Ardiana x Sorry about the late reply but when Real Techniques first started out it was just Sam. Then after great success Nic joined Real Techniques and now all the products say by Nic and Sam.
Not really affordable in Australia. Their like almost $40 each. In America you guys are so lucky, you guys pay much more less than what we do in Australia :(

Its only the individual brushes that stand up:)
Great sale!! Where did you buy them from? I'm thinking bout going to target for these brushes.
I don't believe they sell them in Target but Kohls sells them (online and in store). And you can apply a discount if you have one.
You can find these at Walgreens or Ulta.
Thanks, you need to get them!
