Last year at the Roadshow in Hershey, PA there was an issue with the sound (I don't remember specifically what was wrong) and Luke came out on stage and talked to us while it was being fixed. At first he started just sharing random things, but then he started to share about how God has always looked out for his family and taken care of them at times when they were broke or in bad situation. It was honestly such an incredible addition to their show, even though it wasn't supposed to be a part of it.
Also, when things were back up and running, Luke kept talking and Joel comes out and goes "I know you're in the middle of a story, but we're ready to go..."
Making a version of the songs you sang with out the sound system would be so good! Like an acoustic version with the audiences voices!

Hey everyone. My name is ava and I am 14 years old. This summer I am hoping to go on my first mission trip to Honduras with my church. I am very excited but also very nervous. My parents will not be joining me but I will be going with very close friends I consider family. I would love and very much appreciate if you all could keep me in your prayers while I embark on this amazing journey God is taking me on. This Sunday my pastor recommended, that when we are worrisome, to quite scripture out loud. Speaking the Gospel is a powerful thing, so maybe do extra of that and it it'll help your anxiety. Good ole Psalm 23 was what we started with. ^_^ Have a great day!

I have struggled with anx"I"ety too, sometimes the extreme, debilitating kind since I was your age. It was only this past year, 24 years later, that I've found healing. I pray for your healing NOW so you won't suffer as I did. FK&C's song "Joy" and Hillsong's "Oceans" are the two songs that are reminders to keep my eyes on Jesus and not on myself. Matt 14:24-32. Notice especially vs 29-30. Peter was actually walking on water!! He started to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus and let fear enter his heart and mind. Guard your heart (Prov 4:23) and have faith.
Lol i was at the concert where the sound went out. it was absolutely AMAZING!! it was my first 4 king and country concert and i was definetely feeling the JOY that night:) Everyone needs a taste of what i experienced. there is something about Joel and Luke and their music that make me feel closer to God.

I was in the auditorium when they lost sound. It was absolutely surreal. I was working the Compassion counter with my family when my brother came over telling me to get in there because they’d lost sound. We ran in and saw them singing a cappella and sang right along. Seeing everyone singing it was amazing.
I was just at one of their shows on August 8th and Joel jumped off a 4 foot riser and it was great! He’s 37 now and still going strong! He’s as healthy as if he’s 20 though!
even with the sound issues the Augusta GA show was STILL one of the best shows i’ve ever seen!! y’all could make everything up as u go & i would still be amazing & y’all would never be a joke 😂💕🙌 “he’s aging” 😂😂 i died.. joel could never age 🤣🤣🤣

The crowd singing with you just about made me cry! The harmony blending to sound like one voice and one would. My stars that was beautiful. And I think the broken PA system is something God wanted to use to show you the impact you guys are making. What a true blessing! (Also thank to you Joel for my daily strawberry fun facts. Can’t live without those.)
I was actually on my way to the strawberry festival that day to watch you guys perform, but sadly my car broke down soon after I left my house. It was upsetting that I couldn’t be a part of that wonderful day.

I was at the show in Augusta, and it was amazing! The acoustic set was one of the highlights of the night. I initially thought the PA system going out was part of the concert. When I realized it wasn’t, I started rebuking the devil and praying to the Lord for the sound to come back on. I’ve been to several concerts at the Bell Auditorium, and I don’t remember the sound ever going out before. What the devil meant for harm, God turned it around for good because it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended, and I felt the Lord’s presence during it.

Jane Doe Great question! I definitely felt more connected than I have ever felt in any community during a concert. I attended alone because the ppl I asked to go either had plans or weren’t interested at the time. When I found my seat, the Lord reminded that I wasn’t alone because His Holy Spirit dwells in me. So I started thinking of it as my date night with the Lord.
I’ve been to several CCM concerts, and I know there will be very few people of color in attendance and that I will probably stand out. I’m usually self conscious of that even though I shouldn’t be because God created all of us and loves us equally, but I really wasn’t self-conscious that night. During the acoustic set, hearing the audience help Joel and Luke sing because their mics didn’t work was something truly special to behold. It was a holy roar, and I just got an overwhelming sense of being in the Lord’s presence with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I truly feel blessed to have been there.
@@DrekiMae When they did there intimate release party shows in October...as fans we shared our stories, our pain, our prayers, our hopes. These shows, where it's just us alone together without all the extra, it gets real. And it gets emotional.we laughed together, sang together, prayed together, loved together, cried together, hoped together...
We were so connected at the show we all shared the same exact emotion at the same exact time. We all sang as 1 voice and 1 sound. All on key. All singing the words exactly.

Jane Doe It definitely did. I’ve never experienced anything like it. However, our interactions weren’t as intimate as what you experienced especially with it being at a large auditorium, but I was pleasantly surprised at how engaged they were with the audience. I love what you were able to experience in October because that’s rare and has the power to change someone’s life for the better.
I don’t listen to the radio or CCM that much anymore compared to 10 years ago when it was mostly what I listened to. So, I wasn’t familiar with a lot of their songs except what I’ve heard on the radio. But I’ve been listening to their songs a lot since the concert in Augusta and hope to see them again this year.

It's been 3 years since I got to experience a " For King & Country" concert. Last time was WinterJam 2015 in Tennessee. Would live to see them again. If I miss them here, I'll catch them at Home in heaven, when they play for our King of Kings
When we were at your Chattanooga concert we had front row seats, and so my brother (a huge fan) saw your set list and said “whoa...I kinda want that set list as a souvenir” so he slowly reached his little 17 year old hand up to the stage in a discreet attempt to rip the duck tape off and achieve the list at the end of the show. Sadly, all he achieved was a disappointed look from one of the security guards, forcing him to remove his hand.
Just wanted to let y’all hear this heated story so y’all could know how loved you and your setlists are

A fairly new fan of FK&C, I really am enjoying their music and am also watching videos of their beliefs and lifestyles, and interviews too. I am very impressed with them, especially considering how things are in today's world. God is blessing them, and may He do the same for you!

I was at the other concert when this happened x) Kingsfest 2017. Without their sound system they were still really good though ^^ they have always been super talented, I'm glad to see that they are still able to wow people with their talent and amazing voices

'18 was awesome, I managed to be in front of the main stage and a pop up stage, and get the necklace

I didn't get to go last year but I did go in 2017. What happened is there was a delay between them and Mac Powell that was longer than usual, then when they did get on, they played a few songs with everything working fine. Then at the end of Ceasefire everything stopped working, so they started playing with just instruments and voice. Then Luke had to leave because his wife was going into Labor, them Joel had to wrap the concert up without Luke or sound. It was still really good though ☺️
