We applied maths students are studying this ch in our 12th course. Also all other imp chs studied in college like probability(normal,poisson and binomial distribution.) etc.

To solve the system of equations:
1. \( 2x - y = 0 \)
2. \( x + 2y = 100 \)
First, let's eliminate \( y \) by multiplying the first equation by 2:
1. \( 2(2x - y) = 2(0) \)
\( \Rightarrow 4x - 2y = 0 \)
Now, add this to the second equation:
\( (x + 2y) + (4x - 2y) = 100 \)
This simplifies to:
\( 5x = 100 \)
Divide both sides by 5:
\( x = 20 \)
Now, substitute \( x = 20 \) into one of the original equations, let's use the first one:
\( 2(20) - y = 0 \)
\( 40 - y = 0 \)
Subtract 40 from both sides:
\( -y = -40 \)
Divide both sides by -1:
\( y = 40 \)
So, the solution to the system of equations is \( x = 20 \) and \( y = 40 \).
