It's about getting therapy when you need it instead of grasping at other ways of coping with your struggles ( "getting high or buying neon flags from Tibet") . He went on to mention that there should be no shame in seeking help. For me personally, this verse says it all..... "I've heard these story lines a thousand times They're buried way down deep I sound like a broken record player Stuck in motion, making my ears bleed". To me, this verse speaks of that video tape you have inserted in your forehead with the same negative and painful thoughts and feelings playing over and over. We all have one. The tape will never stop playing until you deal with and attempt to resolve those issues. It's only then that you don't feel emotionally "Stuck" and can begin to take a step forward. I hope this makes sense.
