the lead singer has to be in front of the band, so people can related more with the lyricks and envolve themself with the show. it's basic Psychology. stef is in the front too, because he leads the bass lines. Or do you wanted a queue in the front like a big philharmonic band. and, despite that, the rest of the musicians have to be close to their instruments, like violin, piano and sintetizers and it's impossible to put all them in the front. it will be a big mess. so, my dear friend i think you have your explanations. This is a Placebo show, best band in the f**** world

I'll admit that I came here for Brian's singing but he's the lead singer for a reason. Placebo is presented as a band with a couple of lead (OG) members.
