*Since they have a vampire concept, I do think this is a reference to the movie LET ME IN wherein a young boy fell in love with a vampire girl and the girl told the boy "I can be your girl". The boy gave the vampire girl candies wherein I think the gummy bear represents here, the boy now supplies blood to the girl so that's why I think "I'll give you my love, I'll give you my blood" is on the lyrics. Also, the cut on Sunoo's face, happened to the boy in the movie since he is getting bullied a lot, and as what we can see he has one finger with blue paint on it that represents to help raise awareness about violence against children. Sunghoon's knife and tree carving are also in the movie.* *At the same time, I do think ENHYPEN's universe is crossing both TXT and BTS's universe since there's a lot of things from Nap of a star (TXT's MV) that is also here, also the glass box. The same goes with the opening wherein they are covered, it was on BTS's trailer last year in the year-end award show stating "CALLING".*
I have some theories on my TWITTER @wherearemyjam_s Yeah I have spent the whole day watching Let Me In and they got a lots of details in common, BH certainly took something from the movie, the lyrics clearly shows that
There’s so much going on with this but this is what I’m thinking: There’s 2 versions of themselves of course: The ones in the regular more personal clothing are the “real” human them; the clone/robot versions of them are in matching blue. The versions of them in space are souls in the ethos (that’s why they are in the cosmos somewhere in a nowhere world) waiting to inhabit an empty vessel or body (which is the way many religions believe spirits enter a human body) There is a consistent use of red and blue symbolism; just like in the Matrix (red pill, blue pill) the red represents the revealing of the nasty Fake World or hurtful truth and the Blue represents living in blissful ignorance in what you believe to be the Real World. Instead of edible pills we have 2 different edible substances that represent this: The Blue glowing liquid and The Red gummy bears. When Sunoo drinks the blue liquid a red light begins to glow (red=fake) and draws them to the fake cube/forest world. The Blue robot boys also wake from passiveness (because when the portal opens it also opens in the cosmos world and the boys in white seem to escape) I think at that point they inhabit or animate the blue boys possibly and they are then able to start exploring the real blue world. So ironically both sets of boys are really not where they should be; the real boys are trapped and the fake boys are out in the real world. We also see the boys in the forest looking down into a cube shaped hole and the blue boys looking down into a cube in the museum; I just think this is the same concept as if you were to dig a hole straight into the ground you’d end up in China sort of thing i.e from both of their perspectives they’re looking down (you’ll also notice when the real boys look down the dirt is actually tinted blue not black to brown like dirt should be.) Someone else also talked about how the lyrics and symbolism also seem to represent their journey so far as idols and I also agree with that theory I honestly think there’s about 3 or 4 layers going on but that’s just my thought on the color and world symbolism. Also the original meaning of the song without the seller symbolism as a romance song is kinda scandalous lol but it’s clearly about taking a girls virginity/sleeping together for the first time and talking her innocence (20 cube means 20cm which Jake said in the VCR for the debut show, 20 cm is like 8 inches.. the song is literally called Let Me In (8 inches) lmao it’s just kind of funny to me how Big Hit was able to give so many different nuanced meanings to one set of lyrics tho crazy but yeah I’m shook at everyone’s different theory’s this storyline is gonna have me reeling 💀

When it turned night they were able to move, but when the light shined on them they would freeze. I'm pretty sure that theirs like different versions of them and their looking at themselves in a way they feel boxed in like a cube. I will say that when Sunoo drank the glass he ended up with the cut, but he didn't have it before. This whole song was confusing but this song was really good.

ive just had an epiphany . so like that forest looks like txt in blue hour . The forest a reference to a beautiful imagination and enyphen were trying to break out of it . like trying to bring txt back into reality .
I think the frozen ones disappear after the forest ones break free cause the frozen ones version is the future version of the forest ones who already broke through the glass because Sunoo already has the cut on his cheek. Also, the scene where they're being frozen when the light strikes the room. In the movie, all things inside the museum was alive when night comes. So, I concluded that they're one of masterpiece inside the museum hehe :))
