Those things are big tinder boxes. Not much to do but stand back and get the weenies while you wait for the sound of fire trucks. Like you said, it was insured and nothing else got wrecked, not as bad as it could be
@@TopLineRacer ya I've not seen a lithium battery fire yet but I've been told they are violent, the current guidance for fire departments with them is pretty much "we don't know what to do with them" 😬
Insured a camper that was going to start leaking the first time it was exposed to any rain. Then a battery pack causes that fire. Smart of you or dumb fire inspectors.
Well comon sense would be if noticed that there was a fire you should taken the jugs of antifreeze stuff that you had just brought up to the camper and dumped them on it to douse it out right quick
Common sense notices that we said the bottles of Antifreeze had already been dumped into the camper. And I'm pretty darn sure if two full fire extinguishers didn't put it out, then the Antifreeze wasn't going to do a thing. Thanks for stopping by.
@@TopLineRacer i am very overly cautious especially when it comes to vehicles i do everything by the book and don't take chances with short cuts. Check double check and triple check and still keep one eye on it lol
Well you mean a Chinese battery pack shorted and caught fire.? Weird, by the way lithium battery is almost invisible to a fire extinguisher. I've had 2 trucks catch fire while working with them. As soon as the suppressant is down the oxygen reignited it. So you almost had no hope with two 2lb. Extinguishers.
Hey man that's so sad I'm rebuilding one now and I know how time consuming this is and hope you have better results with your next one. Good luck guys. I'm glad it was insured keep on trucking
@@TopLineRacer that's what I was thinking. Hahaha. I hope the week goes better for yas. Can't wait for that garage to start.. it will be awesome for yas to have more space and a lift.
Lmao you boys ought to stay way from battery’s and electricity in general 😂 yalls track record not looking to good just kidding but in all seriousness glad everyone is safe no one got hurt
No one was hurt, there were no cars or anything next to it, it was insured, no more working on it; all things considered, it cauld have been ALOT worse...imagine if it was down next to the house!

wow, wath a story !
So it was the battery pack, OMG, THAT IS SCARY DUDE.
My question would be, "what was plugged into the GOOLOO power pack?
It was just the pump for the water tank

Yeah those lithium batteries put out a heck of a flame.

Aww man that really sucks. I was so invested in the rebuild series. Imagine my shock when i find this last video. Glad everyone is okay.

That sucks glad to see you are ok can you go after the company that made yhr jump box to get a new camper.
Yeah we already sent that info to the insurance company so we will see what happens.

@@TopLineRacer lmaooo shut him down
i just bought a 4000 amp Gooloo. Pray for me
I'd probably use that bad boy outside the first few times 🤣
Sorry for your loss of your camper. Least no one was hurt and it is insured things can always be replaced but people can’t.
For sure 💯
I see why I couldn’t find it now…
Glad y'all are OK and in good spirits. As I tell my son, "Accidents happen, let's just learn from it.".
Gotta do a little work on the "learning" part 🤣
Glad no one was hurt sorry you have to make new content lol. Why is the Corvette outside lol. those batteries are dangerous when they fail.
Yeah lithium batteries are crazy dangerous when they go up. The Corvette is just outside for the day while we work on some other projects.
And the camaro.
We now you can build a car trailer out of the old frame
I'm almost 43 and have worked on cars and trucks and motor homes for as long as i can remember and ZERO FIRE lol
Zero!?!???? You gotta be doing something wrong then 🤣
@@TopLineRacer i am very overly cautious especially when it comes to vehicles i do everything by the book and don't take chances with short cuts. Check double check and triple check and still keep one eye on it lol
You should just turn the trailer into a car trailer

Please tell us it was insured?even the frame is likely shot with that much heat, SCRAP YARD BABY!, sorry guys, any idea what happened?
Yep it was insured thankfully!

My guess is water got to the wiring. I'm guessing something was arcing to ground good and long enough to cause a real nice hot fire.
Oh I think it's salvageable.. just a little cleaning and couple tires and she'll be good to go. Sorry to see all the hard work end up like that.
Yeah just a little wash and buff and she'll be good as new 🤣

time for a crawler hauler build
Actually already have a partially burnt 40' Raptor toy hauler that we were going to do that with.
How did you catch your house on fire with a candle? 😮 my wife uses them a lot!
Up in smoke is where my troubles go. In my lungs and sometimes up my nose.
Damn. That was a nice camper as well. Sorry for your misfortune.
You may want to move that red Tesla away from your house as well😉 Glad everyone is alright!!
Haha for sure
That’s so heart breaking. This makes me nervous about my camper that’s down at my property
Make a nice car hauler out of it man lol
Lmao you boys ought to stay way from battery’s and electricity in general 😂 yalls track record not looking to good just kidding but in all seriousness glad everyone is safe no one got hurt
I like to think we just do things that require fire more often than most people, thats why we have a few more fire related incidents 🤣
Just needs ceramic coating now to wrap up the project!Jokes on side sorry about it!Hard work sad to see it go like that!
Yeah a wash and wax should do the trick 🤣
If you end up doing a full-blown investigation I would really like to know how your camper went up and smoke just for my own knowledge.
It was definitely the battery pack that caused it.
Sorry to hear about your camper boys! Glad your all safe! You can buy another one and fix it up! ill watch all over again! 😂😎
Thanks brother!
Stay off Amazon for charger packs you two!!!
That's good advice right there 🤣

Absolutely man, it's regularly parked at the house/garage. Could have literally lost everything. All in all it's really not a big deal.
