I'm so glad you made this video. I have been very interested in mica powders but was not sure how to use them. I'm really inspired now. I especially like it when mixed with modeling paste and applied over a stencil.

I own most colors of the Mica Powders but wasn't sure these would do it for me. The breaking point was showing what these look like on Black! They shimmer so beautifully!! Of course, the shimmer on the white for weddings is a must! Now I have to get these too!

Anna - what amazing effects you have shown us with the mica powders. I especially liked the adding to water and spritzing them on projects. Mixing the powder to Soft Gel Medium providing you with a more permanent fix especially on the black embellishments was lovely. Dry brushing very effective - will have a go. Thank you for the tutorial.

Finn your new opal magic mica's are gorgeous. I can't wait to get my hands on them. So many wonderful ways to use them in my art but I think my favorite would be mixing in 3D gloss gel, but my next fav would be simply adding it to water in the spray bottle... Simply stunning !

It's a great product!!! It's iridescent finish really gives a unique touch and dimension to the artwork, because when you look at it from different angles you get to see all kind of different shades and highlights! I mostly like the combination with 3D gel, for dimension and the mix with soft gel which makes it perfect for painting and highlihting. The use on black backgrounds gives wonderful results! I really hope to win this great giveaway!!!

Very cool. I love the look on darker objects, the embalmments, the flowers. The gel and gesso and the stamping are amazing. The Opal Magic Mica Powered would be great for Mixed Media. I love it and can't wait to experiment too. Cool video too. Thanks,

Oh my... These are awesome !! They are so shiny and pretty. You asked us to mention a fave technique from this video... How should that be possible. I love all the ideas you shared. If forced to choose I love them most on black backgrounds. They are much more visible.. At least in a video. It is so exciting that they can be mixed into almost anything. I look forward to play with the new Mica Opal colors. Thank you for offering a fabulous give-away.... Crossing fingers...lol.. Thank you for another inspirational video. Hugs from Monica... Spain

Thank you for the video. I just love how delicate the colors are, soft and subtle. I also love how you can put color just in small areas or all over. I do believe these would be perfect for canvas projects.

What a wonderful products! I love the effects using the opal magic mica powders, all of them, but the one I think is the best is using them mixed with water in a bottle like a spray.

I love all the ways you used them BUT i think my favorite is the soft gloss gel method but a close runner up is the drybrushing on the embellishments! Definitely must haves! :)

I am sort of new to this mixed media, I have seen and heard a lot of it and watched on you tube. I haven't tried Mica Powders but watching this video has got me inspired to try some. Looks like a lot of fun. I would like to add the powder to a medium of some sort on a canvas. Thanks for sharing.

I meant to say that I loved the spray technique but, if I have to choose one, then it would be mixing with the soft gel - I can see so many uses for that.

Would you be able to add just a few drops of white glue to the spray to keep the powder from rubbing off? I normally use hair spray to seal in the powders. Especially when working with chalks.

I could totally see those beautiful powders being used in a wedding. My favorite use that I saw was the sprat technique. WOW that would be beautiful in a hair piece or bridal veil. not during the wedding.. During the reception. spray the hair piece or veil with the irridecent colors and see them reflect off the up lighting.

I was looking at your blog, and you have no idea how happy I would feel if I could participate from Argentina, to earn these products here in Argentina, there are achieved even in dreams !!!. I use something similar with the same texture as painting eyes, and glitter that has a similar effect. But I love your videos and they're generous with your techniques. Thanks again and happy to participate!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
