Vacation with the family can do great things - one of them is strike up meaningful conversation with my momma. I love that woman. She's everything I am, and am proud to be hers. She's taught me how to live and love life.
This song is a tribute to today - August 11th, 2013 - when I got the chance to remember how lucky I am. I wrote the song this morning. It just kind of flowed out me. I love it when that happens... I suppose the truth will do that.
I hope you enjoy. If you've got a mother you're still in contact with - show her some love. No matter if she's been abusive, or a piece of heaven - they all deserve it from their children.
