Adam is always a gracious partner, letting that person shine. Watch some of his duets. Then watch some of his solos, particularly with Queen like Show Must Go On and certainly Who Wants to Live Forever at Isle of Wight. In “Barracuda”, though Adam is toning it down (for him) Lea Michelle is straining, and Adam is barely having to exert himself. I like her fine, so it’s not that. It’s just about the singing.

This performance is really great, really good, I really enjoy the rock's touch that Adam Lambert brought to the show, and Demi Lovato too, and Lea Michele here even though she sings less she is so great, it piss me off when people say shes cover only Broadway songs, this is why she does best maybe, but she's a very complete performer and vocalist too, a very fun and the only duet it's too bad because it's great! it's great to see how Rachel is become so sensual!

Adam can sing every note on a guitar, according to Brian May. Lea Michelle (not just in this video) has to strain a lot and gets nasally. My friend says she is sometimes sharp. And I’ll guarantee you that Adam is holding back for her here. I have seen him with Queen six times and once by himself.
Besides Whole Lotta Love and of course, all the Queen songs, this one of the best performances I’ve heard Adam do. This is what I wish he was singing all the time. He is freaking amazing. 😍

Whats funny is that Adam had originally auditioned for Finn before he went and did Idol but was told he was too old despite only being 3-4 months older then Cory. If Adam had got the part he and Rachel would have been together but also how weird would things have been if Adam had been on Glee instead of Idol.
