I know this Guy personally he’s an amazing person and honestly an amazing friend. Im chronically ill so him and I do a buddy check on eachother from time to time. His ability to get up and keep going is inspiring.
I do hope this can reach more people in similar situations where i can help others and show that there's always a way and a chance to be better than before, In tough choices, it was never easy but is it in any situation. I just hope I can help others as much as steps and everyone else has helped me.
Hey! Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm hoping to expand mental health supports for traumatic injuries in my doctoral research. If you have time or interest in sharing more about your experience. I would be so appreciative of 30 min of your time and your participation. Sending you all the best.
When the adventure (it really is an adventure) of the hospital stay and the rehabilitation (Steps) is over, and the dust settles down, and the reality of your situation sinks in, what are you going to do? That's when (morbidly speaking mixed with a good portion of sarcasm) the fun starts.
