Desir looks very much like "Le Vamp" from the mid-90's. The colors are beautiful. LOVE the whole line this Fall!

I agree-looks like they are going backs to their roots-thank goodness. And thank whomever ended the red eyeshadows!!!! I would love to see more cool eyeshadows-especially more cool plums,more bronze plums, cool rose, pinks, and cool taupes. I’m hoping that eye palette is available soon here in the states. Beautiful new Color’s for the fall. You are so lucky the lipstick suit you a lot. Actually, any color you wear looks good on you. You have that prefect coloured lips. Yes Giulia and Maude are very helpful. I will go to see them tomorrow I need a lipstick for a wedding I am attending next week. Hopefully I will find a nice color.

When I saw the nail polishes and the lipsticks I thought ok non merci. When I saw them on you ... I want them all. I love the nail polishes you picked up and the quality is always great. In fact I rarely use other nail polishes, maybe some Dior because of the brush. The lipsticks, especially 196 I will definitely get, as well as the palette which again I am sure is of great quality. Thank God Chanel is bringing out this new collection which is not boring and not red haha Great job Allison xx

The lipsticks look gorgeous, I'd like to see swatches of more colors. Funnily enough, I thought 211 will be my favorite but since it leans warm, I liked it the list among the 3.

Wonderful review. Absolutely gorgeous for fall!! I really want those vampy nail polishes 😍 the eyeshadows and lipsticks are beautiful but I already have those tones in pat mcgrath’s divine rose 1 mothership palette and just have a lot of mauvy lipsticks already.

Hi Allie, it’s nice to see the new collection already. The palette looks pretty - would love to see it compared to PML Divine Rose etc. mothership palettes, because I’m sure I have these shades. Do you have any idea when the new tweed shadows will drop? One last thing - Can I disagree that Chanel had so many red eye shadows?! Dior, yes; Charlotte Tillbury, yes. But Chanel? No.

Hey Allison, sorry if this has already been asked and answered but I noticed that there was no mention of new Rouge Coco Gloss inventory and there is next to zero available. Same with Duo Ultra Tenue.
Are these being discontinued?
I sure was hoping they’d be featured in the Fall 2022 collection, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I HAVE been out of the Chanel loop but am missing something?
Btw, like you, I wasn’t into all the previous “red” and do LOVE this new nude release. I loved those first two lip shades on you, especially. That second one not only made your teeth look super white, it made the white of your eyes even whiter!

Hi Cynthia! I have no idea what’s going on with their glosses or liquid lipsticks. Online and in stores they have low inventory and I don’t know why. As far as I’m aware they are not being discontinued.

Brilliant Alli! I have just ordered the nail polishes no 945 and 947 as they were on my hit list anyway and the lipsticks in 194,6,and8. In the U.K. on the website they eyeshadow is not yet on the list and neither is the mascara, which is probably a miss for me. I use Sensai 38c which is good. Had to know what to choose from re polishes as well. Not sure whether this collection is going to hit the counters here, so I had to get them as soon as I saw them. They all look wonderful on you. X

Everything looks gorgeous! I can’t find much out online for details. Is the Desir nail color more of a reddish brown, or reddish black? Hard to tell. Thank you!
It’s more of a deep reddish brown. Like a very thick, syrupy glass of red wine with brown colour added.

The Noir Allure formula is called the “red” mascara, due to having a “drop” of red in the noir formula to add intensity!

Your complexion is peek summer, chicly illuminated and bronzed.
The quad was doing nothing for me in the pictures but wow it looks so undeniable on the eye. The nail polishes! They are really unique for basic shades, im a light medium but will probably get some darker shades.
What was the fragrance intensity on the eye and lip products?
There was no fragrance on the eye or lip products. I agree that the palette doesn’t look wow in the palette, but ok the eyes is super pretty.

J’aurais aimé essayer le mascara aussi mais selon le site de Chanel, ils ont ajouté un peu de rouge dans la couleur noire pour donner davantage de dimension et je suis allergique au pigment rouge donc je ne peux mettre cela sur mes cils ! Je suis en attente de la palette, d’un vernis et 2 rouge à lèvres . Bonne fin de journée! 🌸

Ooh, Alli, so glad I already ordered the eyeshadow quad for it's soo beautiful on you...Sadly I haven't found the lipsticks on the Chanel website.. The 196 a demi mot will be mine for sure... Does the mascara kind of compares to the inimitable?! Seeing the brush I thought about it... You know, I am always curious and will definitely try this one out, but 45 Euro for a mascara is kind of crazy.. Even for a Chanel mascara... Big hugs, Steffi
It reminds me so much of Inimitable! Good eye! I prefer the Volume mascara though.
@@AllisonChase Old Chanel lover's eye for sure... I always use the Inimitable, the Le Volume and Le Volume Stretch interchangeable... ((-: guess, I will end up trying the new one but in fact nothing beats the Le Volume... 😉♥️

Is there an expiry date for using eyeshadows if you still use one thats 3 years old? Thanks
Hi Sharon! Yes, all makeup (including eyeshadows) have expiration dates. If you look at the back of whichever palette you have, you can see a small container with numbers inside. It might 12, 18 etc. This indicates when you "should" throw it out after using it. However, I do keep using my eyeshadows past that number.

Purple eyeshadow, brown based lipsticks - looks like this collection is targeted for medium to dark skin tones. I have medium skin with warm undertones. The lipstick will emphasize my brown color - I think 🤔 🤷🏻♀️
