  • I went out and hit the flats in search of some Gator Bluefish and I ended up finding them…Landed 2 behemoths and a few other smaller ones and also a bass before heading back in. Joe Baggs 7” Bone colored swimming plug was the lure of choice and tsunami slim wave 7ft Med-heavy fast action paired with a VR125 Van Staal. Hope everyone enjoys the video and remember to hit the SUBSCRIBE Button for future content and footage…. STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

What a fight! The last time I fished for Blues was out of Freeport off Staten Island on a night bite in 1986. 18lbs on 14 lb test. They are sooo strong. You like challenges with the light tackle. We called them "choppers" back then. Nice video!

Nice blues. What model is your net. I need one. Lost a bid striper because of net too small.

Ide be lying if I told you the brand…I’m pretty sure I picked it up at Dicks Sporting after flipping my yak and losing my gear last year…the net is good for medium sized fish, I was having some issues trying to scoop those big blue fish…Thanks for watching gman😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

That’s the light tackle action, I really shouldn’t be using that rod when chasing the bigger fish but the challenge is what I’m here for….thanks for watching sis 😎 STAY TINED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

@@thesouthshoreanglerfishing I lost a giant fluke due to lack of a net. Tried to swing him over the rail. You always remember the ones you lose. Staying tuned, Homie. Big respect from Philly.

You have a better chance at Russian roulette than swinging a big worthy fluke the rail, respect 👊🏼
