My best friend had cancer last year... he beat it.. I barely knew him. But then he came back to school and was sat next to me.. I was the most annoying person and I still am. But he just listened to my nonsense stories. If I was brave enough I would sing this to him. For being there for me. Even though he had gone through one of the most horrific things anyone could go through especially an 9-10 year old. I just wish he knew how much it means for him to be there by my side no matter how bitchy I am. I’m not saying I love him like a crush or something like that. I love him like family. Thank you David. You deserve the best. If anyone else goes through a similar case. Just know. That even if you have never spoken to them they could become your best friend. They could be the person you look up too ( metaphorically, if they are shorter than you) the most. Treat them like you want to be their best friend because you don’t know their past, their future or present.. Always be kind. And that makes me a hypocrite because I’m not always kind, I am mostly horrible and I don’t deserve him as my best friend.

@1:19 the vocal sings that impactful first "more" in the wrong note... Singer in this karaoke video sings a C there, but it should be the F below it. That's what makes it so impactful and helps the build-up towards the C in the second time around, and later that beautiful higher F with that sus2-sus4 resolution. Just saying :)
Of course I'm right :) It's clearly audible. Not that it's very important as the vocal is quite soft, but it just bothers me that all covers, karaoke versions etc., all seem to miss that resolution and that build-up throughout the song with that very simple change in that note. It's small but impactful things like these that make a song really stand out, at least to me. Thanks though :)

@1:19 the vocal sings that impactful first "more" in the wrong note... Singer in this karaoke video sings a C there, but it should be the F below it. That's what makes it so impactful and helps the build-up towards the C in the second time around, and later that beautiful higher F with that sus2-sus4 resolution. Just saying :)

Of course I'm right :) It's clearly audible. Not that it's very important as the vocal is quite soft, but it just bothers me that all covers, karaoke versions etc., all seem to miss that resolution and that build-up throughout the song with that very simple change in that note. It's small but impactful things like these that make a song really stand out, at least to me. Thanks though :)
