Hello, I normally do not comment on anything really but i just would like to say you are a great teacher! your videos have helped me understand so much. I currently have one of the worst A&P II teachers in history and your videos have helped TREMENDOUSLY. Thank you!!!
Bless the person/people that add Bulgarian subtitles to all the Khan videos about blood pressure (and even more videos that I've seen with Bulgarian subtitles!) I understand English pretty well, but when you're learning a subject with new terms it's nice to know what it's called in your native language too. Thank you so much!
And also, let's not forget to thank Mr. Desai at Khan Academy for helping us understand all of these concepts!
you explained so simply and thats what i want
thank u so much
YEAY! I finally get it! I know, right? Best vidoes ever! Thanks
Thanks! I was having trouble understanding the content in my textbooks. This helped heaps : )
very clear. Thanks
I really wanna thank you for making this video for us! your videos are really awesome and really helpful to make us understand easily! Great work! thank you so much!
You are awesome!! Thank you so much for explaining things so great!!! You have helped me soooooo much!!!
Thank you , what a Relieve !! .
Best learning vids ever@!
khan academy to the rescue! Thank you!
perfect
God bless you :)
Awesome, I'm one of your fans.
sir Thanks a lot for making these videos, could you please add the content of the video in text along with every video, it will save us a lot of time, sir.
Awesome
is there a video with Higher quality on this topic? Thanksss
change in pressure is the same as mean arterial pressure?
Hey!,
I think your videos are awesome! BUTT.......I think you can make them even better :)
In this video you spoke about about pressure, flow and resistance,
when I come back to watch these videos (around exam time) and lets say I want to learn about resistance, having info about what time each topic starts would help! :). Kinda like a playlist-specificing when new song starts and ends
you sound like Ted Mosby, too bad we aren't in a bar right now telling me how you met my mother... instead we are here
I have always known the equation delta P=Q X R as Change in BP=CO X PR. Are these equations the same? the later is less common nowadays. They sound the same though the later seems very simple to relate to change in BP or to conditions that alter CO or PR. Good job khan.
Sort of the same. delta P = Q x R is the same as: MAP - CVP = CO x SVR. (MAP = mean arterial pressure, CVP = central venous pressure, and SVR = systemic vascular resistance). Since usually, CVP
Great lesson, however the brachial artery is not a branch of the aorta. The subclavian artery is :)
Anyone know what is Hybetez Remedy about? I hear most people treat their high blood pressure issue naturally with this high blood pressure treatment.
Accordin to dimensions we learn in Physics the dimensions of the LEFT and RIGHT side of the equation P = Q * R doesnt seem to match ; Thus is this a valid equation for calculation ???
what is the difference between Q and CO since the equations to work them out are the same?
I just do not agree on that blood pressure. Because some medics say that 90 is the optimal blood pressure. But it's not the normal blood pressure of the human body. I have never seen a patient with a blood pressure of 90 that was not about to faint (if it wasn't a underweight, small girl)
its nice .but u not tell about frank strawing law
wat is the total body resistance? is it 18 or do u hav to multiply 18 by mins divided by litres, im so tired
I clicked on this because I thought this was a video on pressure and flow for Instrumentation and control processes. LoL
i hate my sound card when the volumeof the video is too low. and i have to resort to cc
Hi, I know this is a dumb question but why is there a big drop in BP in the arterioles?
I'm pretty sure its an increase in to total cross-sectional area in the capillaries that cause the pressure to drop as blood gets there
Who watch in 2020 😍❤️😍📚
Umm, I feel like some of this denies the established laws of fluid dynamics. Fluid dynamics tells us that when fluids enter a pipe that changes in size, the velocity changes but the pressure should remain the same. This I am confused by your changing pressures as blood moves throughout the body.
But dr reshi works for osmosis
In 2012 there are about 5 liters of blood but now,2015, there are 6 liters.
this video did not help at all for some reason
the sound of the video here is super low =
You write too small!! BTW Video was Good😊

I fucking love you sal take me
There are two major types of resistance: 1. Systemic or peripheral resistance (synonyms) 2. Pulmonary resistance.
When I say "total body resistance" I mean #1 (Systemic or peripheral resistance). I hope that helps! =)
