I'm not sure if I would replace the stock be quiet fan with one of these. If you need a good high static pressure argb fan that works well on Air or AIO coolers take a look at Lian Li ST120 or InWin Jupiter 120mm. The ST120 comes stock on all Lian Li Galahad AIO's. I don't know if your cooler would still be 180 TDP using the Asiahorse. Plus, you need a 4 pin PWM fan that plugs into the CPU fan header on the motherboard. The cable ends on the Asiahorse are proprietary and only work in their hub.
Probably within the hub. The wire ends are proprietary instead of 4-pin female PWM. Only way to use them is with the provided hub. Get some InWin Jupiter aj120's if you're looking for a fan that is economical and a great performer. They're a true ARGB PWM fan that you can control with the MB bios for a custom fan curve and use MB software for RGB. They also have a high static pressure rating so they're a great option for AIO radiators so you can make sure all your fans are the same.
How is the build quality on these fans? For $40 Im sure theyre not top-notch but as long as the build quality is decent (Not flimsy thin plastic that will rattle) I might pick afew packs up
Not bad. Rubber mounts in the corners which I didn't see on the Uphere equivalent. Like I said, I think these are a viable option for someone that needs decent case airflow and is ok with having to control the fan speed using the remote. Not sure about using them on a radiator. Thanks for your question.
All motherboard programs will work with these fans, msi, asrock, gigabyte, asus and nzxt but you need to buy a separate fan hub because the one included with the fans won't work with programs, you can find one for less than 20 dollars on amazon or newegg
Yes, seem to have good airflow and pre-installed rubber mounts in the corners. The hubs are so so. Make sure to push the cable end all the way into the female part of the hub. Instructions suck!
Theoretically, yes.. Some people have commented here that they were able to make it work. We were never able to. The set used for this video were returned to Amazon for a refund.
@@rickyhou6345 It seems like a 50/50 split on whether or not these work with a motherboard. Some can get it to work and others never do. Might be a bad batch of hubs. Glad you were able to get yours to work. Were you able to also control speed through the motherboard?
Did you have any luck finding something. I have the same problem, the msi center fan control won't get them less than 1050rpm when I set the speed at 1%
I just bought a 3 pack, I will use 1 of the fans for my be quiet! Dark Rock Slim air cooler.

@@myhelpfulgeek4737 I just purchased 1 InWin Jupiter AJ120 RGB fan, so I'll use it as a replacement fan on my be quiet! Dark Rock Slim air cooler.
thank you I was looking for a review
Double click the power button to’ use the ARGB function. I have the 9001 model.
I put them back on the shelf. I have another build coming up that I might use them on. I'll try that for sure. Glad you were able to make it work.
@@myhelpfulgeek4737 can confirm that that double clicking the power button does work with ASRock
@@stuckonstupidproductions4315 Thanks. We tried that with no success.. Ended up using something else and sent these back to Amazon.
is it the hub thats the issue? if you bypass it does the mainboard recognise pwn on the fans?

@@myhelpfulgeek4737 They work great on my 240mm aio but im not sure about a custom loop
hello I don't speak English, I don't know if you said it, can they be used with Aura Sync?
Yes.

Do you believe these fans are good? like i have bought one pack of 5 and they're on the way would you recommend them?

Any updates im thinking about buying these fans.
Are they PWM controlled?
Theoretically, yes.. Some people have commented here that they were able to make it work. We were never able to. The set used for this video were returned to Amazon for a refund.
Does it support Aura sync?
were you able to control the RGB via your mobo?
Nope! I found another review video on UA-cam and he had the same issue with PWM and RGB. I'll see if I can find the vid and post it here.
Here it is. They were a different model fan but looks like the same controller. ua-cam.com/video/cn_kOZEviuw/v-deo.html

I have mines running off of ASUS Aura Sync
