I can see why they mainly attract foreigners! For the square footage of the properties for sale here, the price isn't bad at all. By comparison, overseas it would be impossible to purchase a 4,000 sq. ft property for these prices!

Who are these houses for?!?!? I have get a very nice house or condo is DR for $110,000 and in Kenya this can get me luxury… sorry, but I can’t afford the Jamaican market
The prices are ridiculously high. These are definitely not for the locals, but they do sell mainly to people from overseas.

This is good videos to help highlight the madness of the property market in Jamaica because those prices are wild. These prices are like the houses are close to the hotel and not a 45+ minute drive away.
Yep, these are definitely very expensive and not built with local people in mind for whom many cannot afford. These are definitely built and targeted at foreigners
@DatMiSehTV I don't like to use the word 'hate', but I do hate it for Jamaica. There is so much land that could be turned into simple affordable housing for so many, but unfortunately, they continue to look after the few. Helping the majority might just change the lives and mindsets of many people who want better for themselves and their families.
Totally agree, but can't please everyone. Jamaica must provide for all not just the poor, the middle class or the rich. @@TheUnapologeticSista
Totally agree about the madness of the property market, however, its all about demand and supply. This is a market economy in a democracy and not a communist dictatorship. This development has hotels in very close proximity: The new Ocean Eden Bay Hotel (1.5 miles away), Ocean Coral Spring a newly built five-star resort in the vicinity of the Royalton Hotels (previously Star Fish Hotel) both 8 -10 minutes drive from the development. Ocho Rios is 45 - 55 minutes away and Montego Bay is 30 - 40 minutes away. Between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios there are a lot of Hotels so we should be as honest and as accurate as possible when giving information.
