Here's a little hint for the higher level courts: if an officer does something that would put a civilian in jail, and does it without an extremely good reason, their immunity should be gone. The description of the woman in bathing suit getting assaulted by the cop, should have gotten him about 1 to 3 years in jail, not immunity.

But I think that charge was rightfully upheld and immunity rejected. That was excessive force, and unnecessary.

Qualified immunity MUST END IMMEDIATELY! This must happen before we don't have a country. I am a middle class woman who had a very bad/frightening experience when l was young. I never told my husband until the George Floyd murder. He couldn't understand my immediate, intense, emotional response. I don't condone the riots but l understand them. If qualufied immunity isn't abolished, the next time, l will support the consequence.

Sadly it wont. For many in Congress and the President they've already stated that ending qualified immunity is a nonstarter.

AND THEN ALL APPEALS ARE DENIED THE DEFENDANT THEY SET ON DEATH ROW FOR TWO OR THREE DECADES THERE APPEAL IS PULLED OUT OF A FILE CABINET 25 YEARS AFTER THE FACT AND IS REVIEWED AND BLOOD DRAWN FROM THE DEFENDANT AND A DNA TEST IS DONE AND THE TEST SHOW ITS NO MORE THAN ONE IN ONE BILLION CHANCES THE DEFENDANT COULD BE GUILTY OF THE CRIME THE DEFENDANT IS NOT GUILTY OF THE CRIME HE OR SHE HAS BEEN SETTING ON DEATH ROW AWAITING DEATH SENTENCE TO BE CARRIED OUT ONE DAY FOR THREE DECADES . AND UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION A CONFESSION IS FOUND IN THE BACK OF AN OLD FILE CABINET IN THE COUNTY PROSECUTORS OFFICE WITH THE REAL CRIMINAL WHO IS GUILTY HIS SIGNATURE AND THE PROSECUTORS WHO IS STILL ALIVE AND WELL HIS SIGNATURE IS ON THE CONFESSION TO . BUT HE HIDES THE CONFESSION AND CONVINCE A JURY TO CONVICT A MAN THAT HE KNEW AT THE TIME WAS A INNOCENT MAN BUT HE DONE IT ANYWAY . THEN COME TO FIND OUT THE PROSECUTOR WAS FOULING AROUND WITH THE DEFENDANTS WIFE HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH THE DEFENDANTS WIFE AT THE TIME THE PROSECUTOR HAD HIM ARRESTED THEN FILING CHARGES ON HIM AND GOT A WON A WRONGFUL CONVICTION BY JURY VERDICT OF GUILTY AS CHARGED . SENTENCE WAS DEATH BY ELECTROCUTION AND THE PROSECUTOR KNEW ALL THE TIME THE DEFENDANT DID NOT GUILTY OF ANY CRIME HE FRAMED THE DEFENDANT CAUSE HE WAS HAVING A AFFAIR WITH HIS WIFE THAT LASTED TWO MORE YEARS THEN HE MOVED ON TO THE NEXT ONE .
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE DEFENDANT CAN DO TO THIS PROSECUTOR FOR THIS TERRIBLE ACT OF INTENTIONAL WRONGFUL CONVICTION OF A MAN HE KNEW WAS INNOCENT .
NOT ONE DAM THING ZERO CANT EVEN SUE HIM IN CIVIL COURT MUCH LESS CHARGE HIM WITH A CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF SO CALLED MALICIOUS PROSECUTION. , THE PROSECUTOR HAD VITUAL ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY . NOW THIS IS NO MADE UP STORY HERE , THAT IS A TRUE STORY IT REALLY HAPPENED AND NOT ONLY ONCE BUT I DAM IF I KNOW HOW MANY TIMES IT HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT MUCH . ( THAT IS WHAT ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY IS ) AND THAT IS WHAT IT DOSE TO PEOPLE. (IT NEEDS TO BE ABOLISHED FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH ) WERE WE CAN THEN HAVE A JUSTICE SYSTEM WERE NO MAN IS ABOVE THE LAW . PROSECUTORS ARE THE LAST PEOPLE ON EARTH WHO SHOULD BE GRANTED IMMUNITY THIS IS THE KINDS OF THINGS THEY ARE CAPABLE OFF AS LONG AS THEY CAN DO IT WITHOUT FEAR OF PROSECUTION THEY WILL NEVER STOP DOING IT . IM NOT SAYING ALL PROSECUTORS ATE BAD PEOPLE THERE JUST ATTORNEY ELECTED BY THE VOTERS IN EVER COUNTY IN EVERY STATE TO PROSECUTE THE BAD GUYS IN THAT PARTICULAR COUNTY WERE THAT PROSECUTOR MOST LIKLY LIVES HIMSELF . HES JUST A MAN NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT HIM HE WENT TO A LOCAL LAW SCHOOL COUPLE YEARS PASSED THE BAR EXAM STARTED A LITTLE LAW PRACTICE DOWN ON THE CORNER OF FIRST AND VINE . PRACTICED LAW WON A FEW LITTLE CASES NO BIG DEAL THEN HE DECIDES HE WANTS TO BE A POLITICIAN SO HE RUNS FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND BASICALLY UNOPPOSED NOBODY IN TOWN REALLY WANT THE JOB GOOD DEFENSE ATTORNEYS MAKE A LOT MORE MONEY . SO HE WINS THE ELECTION AND HE HAS AUTOMATICALLY HAS THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO GET ANY MAN IN THAT COUNTY FRIED IN THE ELECTRIC CHAIR AND ALL HE HAS TO WORRY ABOUT IS GETTING RE-ELECTED NEXT TIME WERE HE WILL MOST LIKLY RUN UNOPPOSED. HE CAN LITERALLY RUN UNOPPOSED TIME AFTER TIME SO THE VOTING SYSTEM TO GET RID OF CORRUPT PROSECUTORS IS USELESS AS TETS ON A BOAR HOG . THINK ABOUT IT , IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.

Qualified immunity MUST END IMMEDIATELY! This must happen before we don't have a country. I am a middle class woman who had a very bad/frightening experience when l was young. I never told my husband until the George Floyd murder. He couldn't understand my immediate, intense, emotional response. I don't condone the riots but l understand them. If qualufied immunity isn't abolished, the next time, l will support the consequence.
