The relentless awkwardness of the dialogue honestly makes it feel more real to be honest.
I don't think it makes them "more real", I think they're caricatures of each of their personality types and stereotypes in general we gave towards the "teen archetype" in a horror narrative like this game takes place in. None of these people make any rational or reasonable means of trying to escape their situation. They try the radio once, then that's it. Then they basically split up and make it much easier for themselves to gett killed off individually, than if they had simply stuck together. None of the werewolves teamed up on werewolf form, hell, they might even be territorial when they're werewolves and straight up attack each other in said form. There are plenty of reasons to not make the decisions they make and I'd argue most rational people, even horny teens, ciuld come up with better plans, on the spot.

Psychoanalysis is a type of treatment based on the theory that our present is shaped by our past. The unacknowledged meaning of personal experiences can influence our mood and behaviour, and contribute to problems with relationships, work and self-esteem.
Me summarizing the plotholes of the story is hardly anything like psychoanalysis.
@@InVinoVeratasThey aren't caricatures at all. That implies exaggeration. They are very much true to characters in the kinds of films that inspired the game. The game's chsracters may not be true to life but they are definitely true to film genre.
The number of times neither of them had any idea what was happening or what was being said despite the game being an easy-to-follow story-based game with a clear classic horror-trope storyline and clear dialogues was hilarious.

I saw a few people playing this and they all chose to remove the rotor arm. The dialogue seems to want you to choose that option so I'm guessing choosing the other option is one of the endings.
I think Dylan is my favourite character, he's weird and a bit creepy in the beginning but becomes less of that and more comic relief later on
