Hi, the bars enter the body through the licence plate light holes they are visible going from the tailgate going into the holes. On the step bumper they are hidden and the lights are in a different place.

Yes , they fit models from 2012 onwards without the factory fitted torsion bar.

The tailgate is aluminum, weighs zilch. Waste of money.
