Absolutely loved the golden yellow leaves all over here! With that and the blue sky it just made for a beautiful hike all around. Definitely some sort of abandoned Xmas attraction that's for sure. So sad to see it all just rotting awayA
Such and incredible day of hiking. Couldn't beat a fall hike with those blue skies and all those colors! Big thanks for coming along with me on this one☺
"Nothing says Christmas like a decorated shamrock " and then that mannequin "That's so horrifying " LMAO! Ya thats quite a find there Mike,so random, cool and creepy all at the same time.
Haha the Christmas shamrock!!! Such a creepy and random thing to find out hiking. But hey id love to see that back in it prime. Someone definitely put some time into setting all that up.b
Was that used as part of the winter Horse drawn carriage (sleigh) ride they use to have up there? It was the Bald Mtn. Haunted Hayride for Halloween and then the Christmas Hayride. One of the fire Companies used to hold it... It was about 20 years ago!
Oh my Lord Mike! I was LMBO thru this whole video. How crazy to find all this in the middle of nowhere. You kept coming on more and more decorations, and I was like, "whaaaaat?". Humpty Dumpty just about did me in tho. Laughed sooooooo hard! Thanks for a gorgeous but strange video.
I think that might be it Jaclyn. Yes this is bald mountain. I remember going to the hayride up there when I was younger but don't remember it at that spot. Lol my memory could be off due to being that young at the time. But I'm definitely going to look more into this
October is definitely magical! Love fall hiking so much and this is why! Beautiful blue skies and autumn colors and the smells of fall. Made for an awesome day. Finding that Xmas village was the icing on the cake lol
Love the crunchy leaves 🍂🍁🍂🍁and the colorful forest! That chair fits lol, nice staff😮.What we have here is another enchanted forest 🧚♀️🧚♂️! Nice Christmas Decor. I would sweep out those shacks and set that stuff up. You , RJ , JP & Allan should get together for a video and set up The Christmas Forest ,maybe Cliff to. Just saying. 🧙♂️🧙♀️....My guess is it was powered by generators.
Haha love that throne! And how great is the sound of crunching leaves, so soothing! This was so cool to stumble upon thats for sure and I would have loved to see it back when it was up and running! Definitely generators or maybe a house at one time had some.power source!?
Hey mike love the colors of the trees. Looks like fun and little shed does looks creepy. Looks like a Christmas shed . Looks like those woods might be haunted at night. Jp says you know it’s abandoned with Christmas decorations around
Wow Mike, you definitely stumbled upon a great find!!🎄😊 I would've loved to have seen this up and running during its day. I could imagine it being such a magical sight! Based on some of the Disney decor that was found, this little Christmas village is presumably dating back to the early to mid 90s! Wow, I would certainly like to know more about it. So sad that everything is just simply left behind.
Hey the Nikita ☺ im with you! Id love to have seen this back in its days. Would have been so beautiful with snow falling and a hot chocolate getting pulled by horse or wagon. So magical. I definitely need to dig more into this and do an update video. So many questions here lol. It such a shame that it's all left there to decay away☹
Wow that really was rather creepy. What a find for you. Really enjoyed this, just love the sound of Autumn leaves under foot. Thanks so much for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Thank you for coming along with me Linda☺ such a creepy thing to stumble into after a day of hiking! Would love to figure out the history of this for sure. How beautiful of a day was that? Loved that blue sky and golden yellow leaves🥰 going to miss the fall hiking
Really random and odd that all those decorations/structures are there! Especially the electric-powered items. It would be interesting to know how long that's been there. Thanks for sharing, Mike!
I absolutely am going to try and find out what exactly this was and when is was in operation. It's really interesting to me lol. And so sad seeing all that work decaying away 😢
That’s a beautiful place to go hiking - the colored leaves are beautiful- still some left on the trees 🌳. You are right I would’ve thought that was an out house also it’s quite small. I doubt it would’ve been easy to spot that building during the Summer - that looks like a storage shed - Might’ve been some sort of a business there at one point. A Christmas Village perhaps ?? Interesting find - I enjoyed hiking with you to find it 😁👍💕
Such incredible falls views here! Loved how blue the sky was contrasting with the golden leaves. Perfect autumn hike. I'm guessing this was at one time an old Xmas attraction maybe horse drawn ? Either way I'd love to have seen in up and running!
Isn't that crazy? You are right, very creepy, but cool too! I am thinking it was a Christmas ride of some sort with maybe a vehicle like a tractor, kind of like a hay ride, or maybe horses with a sleigh. Not sure, but what a find, that was awesome to see. Such a great adventure! Thank you so much Mike!
Was definitely cool to get to explore this! Definitely looked like some sort of Xmas ride. I'm guessing mayne a horse drawn cart? Would have love to seen it in its prime!
To me it looks like more of an old road you are walking on not a path. I think Jaclyn Birtel may be right that it is for a horse drawn sleigh from years ago. Maybe it was an organized thing. My thinking is you should not have too much of a problem finding out what it is. If you do let us know please. Great find Mike!
I agree Cynthia! Definitely looks like it could have been a horse drawn ride. Im going to dig in and find out some more information about this area for sure!
Haha, definitely would have been a lil more scary walking off trail into that place at night! The day was perfect for hiking. Incredible fall colors and blue skies!
Yeah, as the other comments suggest, Mr. Rosencrance, a local farmer/land owner, started a haunted hayride in the Bald Mountain area, then he expanded it into a Christmas program. I used to know the family and even did some photographs for them years back. He made a GREAT Santa, real white beard and all! He also had real, live reindeer, and I remember that one actually got loose one year the night before buck season (of all nights), and was mistakenly shot and killed by one of the neighbors first thing in the morning on opening day -- he was mortified when he realized what he shot. I've been out of touch with the family for quite a few years and have no idea whether they still do it or not, but I'd bet money that's what this stuff is from.
oh wow! Candyland and the elf fell off the shelf!! LOL So how would they power it all, a generator? You'll have to ask around town, somebody has to know something, that was really cool! But yes if you came thru at dusk or darker and seen humpty's head that would've been a little freaky!
Id really love to know myself! Looked like power was ran from above somehow . Some of the trees by the houses had lil power boxes to plug into. Haha humpty got me rolling when I first saw it!
The "trail" reminds me of a Nice Snowmobile Trail. We have thousands here, some can be mistaken for Logging roads. I would say the 1 Lady is right they used to use the area for sleigh rides. Or the trail is where a town used to be.
This definitely looks like it could have been a horse drawn xams ride at one time? Or tractor pulled? This is one I might need to figure the history and do a revisit!
You sure you didn't add the Randonautica app to your phone?! Lol I'm joking. :) They must have done some special event there one year. Loving the fall scenery. Beautiful!
There is definitely a road you were walking on. An look behind Humpty Dumpty there is the classic Rock Wall that would probably have been a home or building there or close by. Many years old. Something to research. Truly amazing. Must have been a town or something close by.
Hey Mike, we have a thing around here (Syracuse NY) called lights on the lake, were you drive through and see a bunch of Christmas displays.(I may film it this year) But maybe this was someones attempt at something similar to that. Maybe drove snow mobiles up through instead of cars?
Hey there JW'S ☺ I'm thinking now that it may have been a horse drawn or even tractor pulled Christmas ride? I don't think snowmobiles are in that trail. Ill need to dig deeper into this and do an update if I come up with anything
Awesome find! Looked like alot of work went into that & would have been beautiful walk or sleigh ride. Really fitting for Halloween as is a haunting look now. Uncertain why whomever would not of either reused or given away for good use. Trees were just beautiful!! Thanks so much Mike!🎃🎄
Thanks Marty! How beautiful of a day was it then. The blue sky and fall colors🥰 Yes its very sad just seeing all of those Decorations sitting there in decay now☹
Is that anywhere near Koziar's Christmas Village? Wondering if these were some old pieces that they got rid of and someone just made their own private little Christmas village. Perhaps a sleigh ride through there in the past. Who knows. Very weird. Humpty Dumpty was creepy. lol
I dont believe so but I'm cant be too sure. It was so cool to see this just randomly in the forest. Definitely had to be an old Xmas ride at one time my guess lol. Would have been neat to see in its prime !
I'm thinking that back in the day around Christmas time they had a Christmas trail, people possibly walked or went on a hay ride through. But it's creepy now being in the middle of no where and all overgrown.
I agree Alicia! Either that or maybe could have been a horse drawn ride for the family's. It was definitely something I wasn't expecting to run into that on my hike
@@OutNaturing Definitely interesting find. But wonder why they left it like to just have nature take over it all. When I first seen the cover photo for the video I thought you had stumbled across a mausoleum.
Could be a snowmobile path? Check back in December. Could be a portal only open a short time each year. Could be a trap to lure you in, well if we don't hear from you then we'll know
Oh no! Don't want that to happen to me lol!! Im thinking now that it might have been a horse pulled wagon Xmas ride. I just can think of another reason 😆 I need to get tonthe bottom of this
@Monica M well hey Long time, hope you and hubby are doing well. I've been better I'm putting roofs on a couple shop buildings so if death comes looking he will have to climb a ladder. Take good care
I was told that this used to run on the other side of an old Halloween hay ride on a person's farm. After the Halloween season they would pull carts for a Christmas display

A most epic autumn hike! Great creepy factor here!
Aww thanks so much jeni☺ the colors here were so beautiful it was such a perfect day to get out and hike! Definitely has the creepy factor looming!

That would make sense.
I think you are right.
Very surprised an Organization line that would just leave it out there.
The electrical boxes are modern.
Generators I am sure.
