Northern Solitude (Catalunya/US) - El meu cos gelat als voltors - 2021 full length

The debut of this another coalition between Sanguinous Moth and Roanoke, but this time with Nhöj from 1789
Unlike the last coalition on Nocturnal Tyrant, you have here a less ferocious and slower approach, but with great atmosphere and epicness. There are some guitar passages which resemble some of Forteresse's magnificence.
The drumming is nice, but unfortunately gets slightly overshadowed by both vocals and strings. However, they are in total symbiosis with the other instruments and in the necessary measure to allow the atmosphere to set.
Singing in Catalan, S. Moth does an incredible job as those are significantly less distorted vocals as he used to, much rather in a punk style, but highly modulated and pouring himself to us. Singing in your native language usually does wonders, and this is definitely the case.
As important as the vocals, Roanoke once again does his deed in forging the melody on the strings and synth, in one of his most beautiful works. The instrumental is spotless and the way the melody progresses is entrancing and I cannot find any weaker passage or any oddity that sometimes turns off the listener, total perfection.
The way we all perceive music is different, but this one is undoubtedly sincere and touching.

Man this is stellar. Like paysage dhiver stylings. Anybody know if this will get the cd treatment?

The label that published seems to be for the vinyl, but I can almost bet there will appear a few that will kill to release this.
