I like the way you started!! Why do you tie your mains at 6 ansd start your cross at 8? Have you ever tried weaving backwards on your first or first 2 crosses, then you dont have to pull so much string through your mains? I like your hiding spot for your string mover!! Ever think of investing in a pair of cutters you can get at a hardware store for a couple of bucks, it can cut a sharper edge, eaiser to go through the covered grommets on your crosses. You use a load spreader at 12 oclock, ever try removing the white piece at the 12 oclock position to give yourself a bit more room? Nice video!! Pretty efficent!!

Thank you very much for the comment!!! Much appreciate!!
The reason for tying the main at 6 and the cross at 8 is to reduce the amount of string between the last tensioned string and the knot, reducing the amount of tension lost after releasing the knot.
For the first and 2nd cross the reason I don’t weave them beforehand is because I would need a starting clamp to hold the tension, which I don’t acquire at the moment.
Indeed I should invest in a better cutter but my current one is doing the job pretty well and it’s a gift from my dad so I tend to stick with it haha.
The load spreader is tend to protect the integrity of the racket frame so I would say it is quite essential, especially if I don’t own the racket I have to make sure no damage occurs during the stringing process.
Thank you again for the comment and hope you will find my response useful🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️

@@RexRacketStudio just out of curiosity you are making your main strings longer when you tie your knot and your cross shorter when you tie your knot. So your main goes from 10 to 6 going over 4 grommets instead of 10 to 8 which would go over 2 grommets, and your cross goes over 1 grommet 8 to 9 instead of 6 to 9 which would go over 3 grommets, isnt maybe going over 3 grommets shorter than going over 4 grommets? Isnt 4 grommets a longer distance than 3 grommets?
Not sure why you would need a starting clamp for weaving backwards to tie a starting knot, just a suggestion so you don't need to pull your whole cross through all of your mains. A little easier for me to just do 2, not sure if you are understanding the concept of pulling less string through your mains.
Family hand me downs have more meaning than expensive precision tools to some people. I myself like to find vintage tools to use, for tennis I use a pair of I think are at least 40 years old parallel pliers that work great.
I didn't mean remove the load spreader, I meant the white piece between the load spreader and the metal 12 o'clock mount, to give you more room to work. I believe it can be removed.
Just some suggestions from an ordinary amateur stringer like myself.

Apologies for the misunderstanding haha, yes you are correct I was tying my main knot on the 6th grommet, that is because I was following the Yonex stringing method. I do tie my main on the 8th sometimes depends on the grommet condition.
I’ve just tried your method for weaving the first 2 cross string backwards and it works great, thank you very much for the suggestion!! Also I’ve tried to remove the white plastic piece but it seems to be glued so I guess I have to leave it on🥲.
      Thanks again for the advice!!💪🏻
