Oh Queenie thank you for the tour around Fortnum and Mason, my favourite store ever. Is it ridiculous that I want that dolls house even though my children are grown up ? 🤣🤣I love all of the information you provide, I never new about Fortnum sending hampers to suffragettes etc thank you so much. I know you are a Londoner but I like the way you sometimes sound like a real Londoner, "we'll av eigh' uv them, eh?", " let's have a butcher's here." It's lovely and has so much character. So many UA-camrs are so stilted and unnatural in their talking because they're trying to sound 'posh'. We will lose all our wonderful regional accents. Loved this vid, thank you!

The black and white checked is McKenzie Child’s. It is extremely expensive and widely popular. They make furniture as well as regular decor, and holiday decor. I believe the deer in heels are Patience Brewster which I think is by McKenzie Child’s. Just thought I’d let you know 😁 Good video!

Hi, do you know the brand name of the glass ornaments that had the chubby snowman, gingerbread house and Christmas tree? I saw the initials HF on the box but couldn’t make out the name.

It was a lovely roam around the Christmas area. My favourite department store in London as well, along with Liberty and Harrods. I always trek to all 3 when I return home to England. Loved the clock, I have actually never seen the chiming sequence before. Thank you Queenie.

till you drop anymore, good to look around the shop from my
armchair.

I've always preferred Fortnum's. so much more refined and select in their product line, my first direct experience was afternoon tea upstairs, our tea lady took a shine to these two huge americans, I'm sure we were offered extras, the bill certainly reflected it, unexpectedly affordable, for the pleasure. Fortnum Royal Blend only.
Just love the filming so enjoying looking in the most famous shops in the world well done queenie

I’m visiting London next week and I’m so glad that bookshop is right next door, because my daughter wants to go to the bookshop and I want to go to Fortnum and Mason! 😊 not sure who will finish browsing first though… 😁 I have my eyes on the Gramophone Musical Advent Calendar, I missed out last year so really hope to get it next week 😊 Kate x

Absolutely brilliant video. We're big fans of F&M, it's our favourite store too, and you did it proud. It's brilliant the way you took the time to show everything, and it wasn't rushed, unlike some other UA-cam videos. We actually got a Fortnum's delivery yesterday, which included 4 bottles of their amazing 181 Sauce, if you haven't tried it, you must give it a go. Btw, this is the 1st video of yours that we've watched, so now we have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you for posting it.

Thank you so much. :) I think that there's so muxh time and effort that goes into dressing these departments and they deserve to be shown to the fullest with appreciation. I also like to value traditional beauties like F&M that are unlike anything else and cannot be replaced or replicated.

@@QueenieofLondon thank you so much for your lovely reply. BTW, my favourite way of using the 181 Sauce, is using it instead of Worcester Sauce on Welsh Rarebit. The weekend is going well so far, just sipping on some Madeira. Hope that you're having a wonderful weekend. Thank you again.

Might sound odd, but how do you shop for the baubles for example? Putting 2 dozen glass ornaments into a shopping cart doesn't sound right. :) Is there an empty box you can fill or you have to ask for assistance?

Nice overview off all the items...but you filmed a lot of people, showing their faces and even recording their voices....in Germany we have the right on the own picture, you have to ask every single person you filmed, if it is okay for them to be filmed and put on the internet via UA-cam for eternity ! Other youtubers try to avoid filming other people !

I'd be afraid someone would come up to me in there and ask me to stop filming. Shops can be funny about that. Do you ask for permission to film in advance and tell them you're a youtuber?
Such an elegant store, yet everyone is dressed so casual. I’m appalled at dress code going to the gutter these days. Sports wear was made for that, sports. Clean yourselves up for shopping at a beautiful store. Everyone has lowered their standards. Stop copying Americans, who also have turned into slobs!
