- Come fly with us from Denver to Texas in the Cirrus SR22 Turbo! Once we are at cruise altitude, will review a Partner-In-Command course that my wife completed walking through how she would handle various in-flight emergencies as a non-pilot.

That is so awesome, the way the flight controllers check up on the pupper.
I’m a new owner and I really enjoyed your videos. If you have any time to post any new stuff that would be great! These are fantastic.
Need more videos. They are great.
Thx Alan! Another one on its way with a few stacked behind that one :-). Glad you enjoy.
It must be a nice feeling to fly in your own plane.
I believe I will love it too.
But it is interesting to entrust oneself to an engine and climb to a height of meters.
Thanks for the tip about the Partner-in-Command training through CPPP. I'm getting checked out in a SR22T at KAPA and will be flying with my better half soon - good info to know.
Nice job, as always. Will have my wife watch this as my training moves forward.
Thx Chris! Good luck with the training.
Great video. Not a lot of camera clutter. I fly an SR20 G3. Very good job on passenger emergency procedures. Thank you.
Thx!!
Great info. I have been flying with my husband for awhile too. We just upgraded from SR20 to SR22. Took our dog with us on our first long trip (Ohio to Denver). I am going to look into that class! Happy flying.
Many thx - blue skies! -KW
Beautiful plane, KW. Keep making videos! I live in Colorado and you are one of the few channels that shows a lot of mountain flying. I'm getting the aviation bug and may take a discovery flight at some point. I'm at the time in my life where I could pursue a private pilots license, so I really appreciate what you're putting out there. Maybe I'll see your SR22T in the skies one of these days!
Many thx!! Highly encourage you to go take that discovery flight - you will love it. Blue skies! KW
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to put it together and post it. What are the CAS alerts on takeoff approach and landing? As a fellow G6 owner with a wonderful wife like yours who enjoys flying I’m definitely going to send her this video and get into a partners in training course next year. Thanks again
Hey Scott! Great questions - CAS on takeoff was Fuel Flow. For max power, I have the FF set pretty high (41-42 GPH) and on colder mornings you will sometimes get a High FF alert - a simple tweak of MP fixes it right away, but it would be a reason to abort if it persists. Landing was low fuel alert - it's one of only a couple things I don't like about the G6 - low fuel alerts start and persist at 12 gallons per side (so 90 minutes of reserve), which is annoying. My personal mins are landing with no less than 20 gallons, so we were well within that very high margin. Hope that helps - blue skies!
Great video. Do you think Cirrus will incorporate the auto land features from Garmin?
As you might know, Cirrus has incorporated it into the Vision Jet. It remains to be seen in the piston as it would require auto throttle and Fadec. Would love for cirrus to take that road, but would require completely reengineering around a new engine.
@@kilowhiskeyaviation3908 Thanks for your response.
Great video! Can I ask you where you purchased the ear protections for your dog? My wife would love to carry ours around in our S22T. Do they work? is she happy with them? Bruno from Italy.
Hi Bruno! Maggie wears Mutt Muffs (you can find them on Amazon) and loves them. We had her wear them around the house for a few days to get used to them prior to her first flight. They seem to work well as she usually just sleeps the entire trip. Ciao!
Sent this to my wife also. Can you share the card you wife has?
Hey Bill! Best place to find the card (and booklet) is through COPA University. Blue skies! KW
