Licensing from Atlantic is likely very costly, and likely cost “Rock Candy” a ton to press XX amount of copies of Badlands. You all keep saying why can’t it be reissued and it was !! by rock Candy !! 30$ for og press grail cd isn’t that expensive really. People are easily paying $20-$25 for new releases or deluxe versions of cds (the Judas Priest invisible shield deluxe book was likely $30). Old og press glam rock has skyrocketed because there’s a lot of 50-75 year olds with a lot of money, and more money to dispose because the kids have moved out, so it’s driven stuff from that era up if it’s less mainstream / more obscure.

Ray Gillen's Eternal Idol is way better in places and Tony Martin performs Ray's parts very well but, they're still Ray's parts. The melodies were all Ray. Shows like this one are the reason I subscribed. I'm kinda done with the album cover shows for a while. I'd much rather talk music.

I was open to it until the superfluous numbering of the album title and the auto tuning of Freddie’s voice. Also, the quaint sound quality of the first album is one of the reasons I now love it, although admittedly as someone that jumped onto the bandwagon at A Kind of Magic that was not always the case.
@ I got the original for xmas 1980. Probably my 4th fav Queen album. I know this album inside out. I don’t find Freddie voice sounds auto-tuned at all. And I think auto-tune is the worst thing thats happened to music. So many artists use it these days. Automatic stop for me. The drums, vocals, and guitar way more more clear and up front. I’ll never go back to the original. 🤘
