I came to this video because I am already in a dental materials class and wanted more information that I can listen to while driving. We’ve covered the definition of dental materials in the first 2 minutes of my real class and that’s all this video covers really. But thanks for the effort.

Thank you for the video. I would like to ask you: what kind of problems have you seen in any area of dental health because of the lack or the "none existence" of a biomaterial? Up to this date, is there a relevant problem involving biomaterials (dental materials) where you could say "Okay, this requires attention."
Well there are many problems that one could face because of the lack of the appropriate dental material to be used in a specific case. For example if you're doing an anterior composite filling and you don't have the right matching shade, then you're unable to perf the procedure. There are many examples as such.
