I got the compressed folder with the data from a shared folder from work. When i try to find the data none of it actually shows up in the geodatabases, how should i fix this?

Did you figure out the problem? Sometimes, colleagues will zip a file while the file is in use, which means it gets compressed with locked files. Then when you transfer it to another computer and unzip it, the files are still locked and they will not load in ArcGIS.

After clickining add data source and connect folder the files not showing

@@MapYoda it turns out we accdently delete all files in document/arcgis/defualt.gdb wich is the default data source
