I miss him and going to the Aerodrome as I did, growing up in the 60's ... My father was one of the announcers for many years... Don E Eastwood... What a blessing it was to be a part of this ... Thanks to Cole Palen and his vision
I grew up playing at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome every weekend with my friend Clay Hammond. Clay's Dad Bill was part of the airport and also a pilot in the show then. I have many fond memories of being part of the show and playing on those grounds. Today, Clay is one of those pilots having moved back from Kentucky a few years back. My good friend Matt Heuer is also in on the air show with his own Great Lakes Trainer. Matt returned to the Hudson Valley from his airline pilot job in Syracuse a few years back. Here is a video of Matt doing some air stunts: ua-cam.com/video/q2_3Op2o064/v-deo.html Thanks for sharing this interview!

A real classic! Thanks for preserving and uploading this footage!
I was happy to meet him, and see him as "The Black Baron"
1973-74!
New Standard biplane was made in Paterson NJ.
❤ This post in memory of Anthony " Nino" AJ LaScala ....another " Flying Farmer" WWII Veteran Pilot and founder of Spunky Aerial Dusters ❤

My dad knew him well, he used to bring his planes to Westover AFB. I have some film of him and his men that I digitalized.
Great video but one small correction, the D-25 was built in Paterson New Jersey not England
