I have the same laptop I bought it not even a week ago and the temperature is very similiar, but on other reviews their temperatures are so much less. Is it safe to be on this temperature while playing game for the long term or would a repasting help?
It depends on temp but its safe no issue

What is your room tempt?
What is your idle temp?
Is it boost mode?
How many apps you are running on background?
Solution:-
Try elevating or use cooling pad for better air intake , it will help fluctuating temps to lower and will not be stuck at high temp.
Disable background apps (unnecessary)
Try undervolting so that it doesn't cost much performance and doesn't heats up much.
Always keep your laptop desk/table clean or else the dust and crumbs will get in and block the air flow.
If nothing works you might have defective piece, take it to store and get it replaced if still able to.

@@raffrodog I turned off turbo boost and it went down about 15-20 celcius, and when I posted that comment the room temp was 30C, yesterday it was around 24C and my laptop's temp dropped to about 84-88C but it still rises to above 90 for some time. Does this mean its normal or my hardware is defective? and by defective you mean the cooling system is defective or the chip is generating the heat more than it should?
@@theoh3736 Are those cpu temps ?? If it is cpu temps while gaming it's quite normal to reach 88-90.
If it's idle temp then that's not good.
As for the defect i can't say but new laptops gpu going above 86 is not normal.

hello brother.did u upgraded ur ram to 16gb? Also,u have tested battlefield 2042 in high settings which was around like 35-40fps so can i expect a decent 60fps with low-med settings with dlss on?
u Think assassin creed origin would give me 60fps with high-med settings bcoz i guess ac origins dont have dlss...
please note i am too with 8gigs of ram.
No bro its 8 gb ram not upgraded and yes u can expect 60 fps and if u want to see in detail see my actual gameplay of bf 2042 in which I've tried games in all settings
Stick one more 8gb ram for best performance

@@deadman593 yep pretty much....on gaming laptops atleast...ive seen significant better temps when the ac is turned on in my room along with max fan speed but yea for a gaming lap this much is standard.

@@datix8861 battlefield 2042, cyberpunk ,assassins creed. Like some other games also where you set the presets way more the gpu could handle and the fps was about 30-40 range.
@@amitnair294 take in count this guy is using only 8gb in single channel, if you add a second 8gb ram stick it would work in dual channel and have 1.5x to 2.0x fps increase

This is msi afterburner Software which show useful stats like cpu temp fps gpu etc while gaming. You can see tutorials on yt for this

@@vladross6130 if your laptops hdmi is directly going thru the gpu it can increase the fps bc laptops screen doesnt directly connect with the gpu

Bro I have same but ryzen 5 5600h varient and I'm getting less fps then laptop in God of war original preset I'm getting only 50-55 max and it drops on 35-31 in some places after setting it to high performance from Nitro sense
Looks like game issue update ur driver and try to play in mix settings of original and high

I just bought an msi with these same specs.i have yet to test it.waiting for starfield
what program you are using to measure temp and memory usage? My MSI afterburner doesnt show me the GPU temp, I am using the same RTX3050.
I figured out that if you use the "Override Graph Name" and give it a name GPU1 Mem > VRam. The on screen display creates a seperate row for that tab and it works for all the other things as well... Though some of the info might cause clutter if not careful.

Hello Datix i have same laptop as u with same specs: i need to ask a question what is your CPU idle Temp ? and at what room temp., Pls tell because where i live here room temp is 34d and my laptop temp goes upto 78d while just using chrome or watching movie pls help my brother. If anything is unusual i'do like to call customer care to help me .
In normal usage my temp goes max to 60 in cpu and most of the time under 55 but while gaming or heavy use it goes upto 93 at ideal room temp. So yes in ur case its a issue try to reslove via youtube fix or costumer care

Bro I am really confused whether I shud buy the same nitro in this video whose cost is 72-75k or Dell G 15 ryzen 5 5600 H RTX 3050 which has a 90W TGP GPU, I have asked many people bt most of them say performance is a little better in Dell but it has heating issues whereas Acer nitro has a bad build quality , So in terms of thermals, is acer good and in overall do u suggest Acer Nitro i5-11400H rtx 3050 or any other laptop in the 60-70k budget? Overall better performance except wva panel which gives warm screen tone(can be calibrated)
Also if u can try to increase budget you can get i5 12th gen version which has 16gb of 4800 ram for 85-87k.

DUAL channel and increase fps by 5-20 depending on the game.

I have the same laptop but on gta v even on low settings I get like 45 fps and the max watts I got my gpu to go to was 22.2 watts even though it could go up to 70 watts

Try high performance mode in nitrosense
Check graphic settings option of valorant is it running on rtx or not
ill try using nitrosense, im running it on rtx but it is still laggy. When i used it the first time maybe 2 weeks ago, it runs upto 130 fps consistently but now im experiencing fps drops. Btw thanks for the help

hitman 1 max settings 70avg
hitman 2 max settings 60 avg
cod warzone 2 lowest setting fsr2.1 60fps avg
a plague tale of innocence max settings 60 fps avg
batman arkham asylum idk why but it wasnt so smooth max settings
dark souls 3 max settings max fps
dark souls 1 also same as 3
apex max settings 120fps avg
farcry3 same like batman it wasnt smooth
fortnite low-high settings 144avg direct 12x
watch dogs same wasnt smooth
most of the old games wasnt smooth ion max settings but new games from 2018 max settings were smooth
