- This video shows what happens when you let the opening scene run for Mario Power Tennis on Nintendo Gamecube.
This channel features various educational, instructional and entertaining videogame videos, with a focus on Mario Party, Mario Maker, Luigi's Mansion and many other Nintendo games. My own personal gameplay, creative input and editing is clearly added into each video assuring that all videos to adhere to UA-cam's partner program guidelines. Every video is my own unique creation and each video is recorded and edited by me.. Permission to upload all my unique gameplay on this channel was given by Nintendo.

Wario and Waluigi working together was so special to me that I would just watch it over and over again.
fun fact: Waluigi was created because they wanted Wario to have a matching doubles partner in the original Mario Tennis.

@@zumonachoinc8524 Actually, if you take into account that they originally asked for a Waru-Peach, it feels obvious that they created a joke character because they never thought of using Captain Syrup. I never liked Waluigi anyways.
Me and a friend played this a lot, and every time starting up this game we would watch this intro fully, even act certain parts. oh the memories, this is such a brilliant intro

Ah yes, the emmy and oscar nominated short film that preceded a video game. Seriously tho why doesn't nintendo make animated films with such character and fun. I feel like they'd have a goldmine on their hands

For once I agreed I wouldn’t care whether Mario and Luigi would try to be the main protagonist in the series as long as they are just guest stars. All I know is will be just like any other super villain card to anything serious were the bad guys tried to do something scheming, but at the end they’re defeated by fate or positive consequences.

I love how Bowser puts them through vigorous excercises to get better at tennis but ended up using none of it.
Maybe because he feels there pain. At first they were scare that they thought he want to crush them because he’s more dangerous but it turns out he want to coach them by revealing that he too has score to settle with Mario and Luigi.

Aside from a short time where Luigi sounded like a higher pitched Mario, Charles managed to make the four sound distinct from each other and despite clearly having lost a notable amount of energy in his voice, he didn't stop loving his roles.

I love how all of Wario and Waluigi’s lines don’t match up with the animation, implying Charles Martinet ad-libed the whole thing
He sounded like he had fun doing so. I wouldn't mind a cartoon series with these two characters and their shenanigans.
It features grunts and then just a bunch of out of place but hilarious words.

This intro gets me every freaking tine I watch it. Never gets old. Luigi's classic "Oh, this looks baaaad," plus the Nintendo logic of Mario and Co hitting Bob-ombs with their tennis rackets and not making any of them explode
The game was awesome.
The only better intro is Sonic Unleashed's, but this one is definitely up there, it's so good

These two NEED to be in future Super Mario games, they have so much potential other than just playing sports, Nintendo is wasting them. It’s feels so weird knowing that Waluigi himself has yet to appear in a mainline Super Mario game whereas Wario appeared in Super Mario 64 Ds at least.

It certainly does feel jarring now that I think of it now.
Bowser just happens to be in some basement auxilery gym of the stadium, and to whip Wario & Waluigi that has nothing to do with bombing the place anyways. But then again; Bowser loves underhanded tactics, and over-the-top schemes in the name of sabotage.
It would have made sense for Wapeach to do all of this. Maybe the image of an little girl torturing Wario & Waluigi would be rather... uh.. _crude_ if you will. Eventually, she will have to be just as bombed in the end.
I always loved the part at 4:04 where the Koopa and Diddy Kong were giving Mario and Luigi some aid by sending back some of the Bomb-ombs at Wario and Waluigi

NGL, this intro brings me nostalgia. I got this game for my sixth birthday and I watched this intro entirely. I always questioned why Diddy and Koopa were the only two characters that helped the Mario Bros. fend off Wario and Waluigi, felt weird the other characters didn’t help. Plus, it’s weird we never found out what the heck happened to Yoshi and DK. Did Bowser just take them off screen or something?
They were cheated out of the finals. That's the sad part

Wario and Waluigi _ARE_ brothers.
Reasons:
1. Same genetic facial features (Pink Noses, Cyan Eye Rings, and White & Black Eyes)
2. They do almost everything together.
3. Mario and Luigi are brothers, and Wario and Waluigi are their respective anti versions.

Wario and Waluigi properly defended themselves in court for this one, Bowser was obviously holding them against their will. They probably actually wanted to rematch with their newfound athleticism, but Bowser's agenda went against what the sportmen desired and forced them to bomb the place.

I like these silly little scenes where they show us that the brothers Mario and Luigi don't always get along, even if they are not canonical... that they have their moments of fights in absurd things like any group (in this case even) of siblings. Just as Wario and Waluigi have those few very short moments where they get along (they're not brothers, but that doesn't matter), the same thing happens when Mario and Luigi get along badly in very specific circumstances; both Mario and Luigi, like Wario and Waluigi, are mirrors of their own relationships as a pair of "partners" throughout their adventures, even in the most ordinary ones.
This doesn’t have Mario or Luigi fighting though.
