Removing the cape on Blaidd's armor: *SACRILEGE* Not only because the cape is the best feature.. but also because Blaidd had it on and he was the goodest of boys wearing it.
I still wish we could sort of "dye" the armors. I honestly don't know why they even bothered with alteration of gear because 98% of armors look better unaltered but I guess it's better than not having it.

I wish more of the alterations were different variations to the sets like colour or pattern rather than “would you like to remove the cape that looks awesome?”
@@TheBattleMarine249 I've found some altered sets as drops. Specifically the knight at the caelid dragon communion can drop altered sets of the exiled armor. Ironically, they can't be altered for me rn unless I'm missing another item.
I've been rocking giant dad in pvp. So fun. Tree sentinel chest with the rest bull goat. If you want to go full giant dad but miss out on poise, the helmet of the old man with a blindfold increases equip load.
Its a shame the Bull-Goat armor is so ugly. I think it's one of the best armors and can be acquired relatively early. I wish there was something like "subjective transmog", where you can give your armor a different look on your own screen, but the armor doesn't appear transmogged to the enemy, so they know what armor you are using.

I'm kinda dissapointed that there is no Beautiful/femenine armor anymore like the Ciaran, Fire keeper, Sunless, Black Witch and Dancer sets most sets are either cool or goofy wich is fine but still, that is my only gripe with the game. Maybe the DLC will deliver 1 or 2 sets like those?
Your disappointed that there's no skimpy armors? Seems like that's what your saying, and if that's the case, this is a game about killing and practically ascending to godhood, you wanna make sure you have the best defense. Any openings in your armor can provide an advantage for your enemy

I have finish all of these games with whatever I think it looks nice I have never cared for defense on dark souls nor elden ring. The armor in this game is SO F#### AMAZING. Clearly the best of any souls game. So much character and story in each armor, with incredible detail and customizability. WONDERFUL!
I know we can't layer/glamor/transmog our favorite fashion, but they have some buffs when they're full gears or various gears. Sometimes, I don't like lowering their stats for every gear because all enemies and bosses are too strong whenever you're low or high level with some high or low stats.
The beast champion is what I wear but I find the hat or helmet just pretty ugly but unfortunately no way to change the look of it. The rest of the set looks good. The banshied knight set also one I wear it looks good across the board. Even better the alternate version.
I wish you could alter the hair for Malenia and Godfrey's head pieces and have your hair style instead, maybe they'll add an option like that hopefully.

my tip would be to just use the wiki man its so much more efficient, then when a set looks cool, google a video of it to see what the whole thing looks like
I've only found the goldmask headpiece. Its somewhere at the end of the one broken bridges in Altus Plateau. You can also found a standing body which you can talk to at one of the broken bridges which wears the goldmask headpiece (though Im not sure what it is about). Havent found the others yet though.

Radahn's and Veteran's sets are my favourites. The helmets also look quite good with Blaidd's set
Very few sets are actually improved in the looks department by removing the cape. I will say, Alberich’s altered hat looks amazing.

Nah, some sets like the Consort’s robes and Alberch’s robes look way better without the cloaks, they’re just too much, same goes for Raging Wolf.
As Confessors are basically black ops church assassins, I feel the Black Knife set is practically a must have for Confessor builds

it can be aquired early but weighs so much you wont want to wear it until you're higher level and can actually dump points into endurance

Stats on armor are barely relevant compared to vigor. Wear whatever you want
From my experience, unless you cha ge to something significantly heavier/lighter, the armor doesn't make that much of a difference
